    This movie seemed to have potential, but it never really took me where I hoped it would. Not a terrible movie, but likely not one you'll watch more than once.

    I think most people including myself felt that there were enough movies abut the mummy out there when this one was announced.. It also did not seem to be a good fit for Tom Cruise. I tend to find movies about ancient Egypt to be interesting and so I gave this one a try. To tell you the truth, right from the beginning I was shocked about how interesting I thought this movie was. The ending was not quite what I expected, but all I can say is that it was definitely set up for a sequel. As far as picture quality is concerned, I would say that you will not be disappointed. The 4K picture was great on the Sony 900E I bought recently from Best Buy as well as the Sony 800 4K player. So, in conclusion, I enjoyed this more than most. If you are on the fence , then rent t first, but in my case will definitely be watching this again, hopefully with friends.
