I bought The Neverending Story for a relative. I watched some of it before I gave to my sister. I did not think much of it but she did & does. Thus, the five stars & the recommednation.

There are no words to describe how great this classic from my childhood is. Special effects hold up, the characters are memorable and the message of how powerful imagination is still sends an impact. This edition is packed with bonus features from documentaries, an audio commentary and a one hour special made for German TV is included. Worth getting.

This is a great modern classic fairy tale that is supposed to show children the power of opening a book and letting it take you to fantastic world's beyond the normal world. There are some adult themes in play here, but for the most part it's perfectly safe for older children because of the intensity of some scenes.

Great movie even after 30 years after it was made. This DVD has how it was made and back then it was cutting edge of high tech in movies of today. I still love this movie , I saw it when I was a teenager and I still love it today. This movie is for all ages!!!

Since I was a child and now with the lives of my children the tale of Sebastian, Atreju and the book that never ends is being enjoyed over and over again. I don't recommend the sequels, but this is a classic that every child will adore now in stunning HD. My kids evening named their cat after Falcor the luck dragon.

I watched this film long ago while I was in the Navy in Japan. It is a very entertaining move! It revolves around Bastion and how he saves, well I'll just leave it at that. The Blu ray is outstanding and a great movie to watch, especially with kids.

I had never sat and actually watched This film but as a collector of classic childhood films of all ages, I figured it must be classic for a reason. I thourghly enjoyed this movie and it's story and the characters. I am now looking forward to reading the book which is always better than the film.

I really like The Neverending Story because the great characters of the film. There was a lot of action to the story which keeps the audience spellbinding interested and not having a bathroom break. This film will be an all time Classic in the realm of Shirley Temple movies.

I bought this movie for my kids on VHS many years ago and I was happy to find it on disc now. My grandsons love this movie just as much now as my children loved it years ago. We've viewed this on a family movie night and both of my now adult children said it was nice to see it again after so many years.

I was happy to see this movie so well priced because it is a great and timeless movie I bought for my daughter to enjoy. DVD came quickly and in perfect comdition - no scratches. I used my bestbuy credit card for the purchase - the whole thing was painless/easy/ and fast... Thanks Best Buy!

This is just a wonderful, magical, classic movie. No matter your age, you will enjoy it. I enjoyed it as a child, and I am happy to still be enjoying it, with my children. There is no worries of unnecessary language, adult content, or gore. A family movie, at it's finest.

Wanted to show my daughter a movie I grew up watching and this one is perfect. She loved it. Glad I am able to share this with her. Feeling a little old with this being the 30th anniversary edition but other than that, it was a good decision.

This movie is fantastic! Classic visual effects and an endless imagination keep this film relevant even today. A perfect film for these trying times where “the nothing” seems to be devouring us all!

I have the original but for the price I HAD to buy this on blu ray. The story is iconic and a great family movie all around. Highly recommended.

I remember watching this film as a kid and it was one of my favorites. Being able to re-live it now as an adult is awesome. Purchased at the height of nostalgia and it was one of the best decisions for me to add this to my collection.

My son and I loved these movies when he was a child many years ago. So I decided to continue the tradition with my great nephew who is turning five. Can't wait to watch them with him. Best Buy is the place to buy anything when you want quality.

The great thing about this movie is that it can be enjoyed by all ages. Honestly even with the creepier scenes kids will enjoy it and it will be memorable due to the moral of the story. Also the special effects and the characters will make it memorable too. I definitely recommend it for adults too since it'll also make you realize how our childhood can be forgotten.

We used to have this film in VHS form and once I saw it on DVD, I had to get it for my grand kids. After watching the movie again, I realized it was a little dark for young children but when they get older they will appreciate it.
