Two episodes in and I am completely hooked. One of the best television shows I've seen in some time. Excellent pacing and intelligent and quick dialogue make for a wonderful viewing experience.

You get hooked, at least I did. I like the way this series took all these events and brought you back to them. You can relate to at least one character or more overall I enjoyed it.

Great writing, no PC, just straight forward in your face reality about the news groups, politics and uninformed voters... You have to see this, 100% EXCELLENT SERIES.

This is one of the best written, best acted series on TV. Every actor deserves an Emmy. The stories in each episode are great and reflect the times we live in today.

I wasn't expecting much from this show especially because it doesn't get the publicity of other great hbo shows. I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was.

We loved this series from the beginning..too bad that it was so short-lived. We found it as interesting as West Wing in terms of the political "intrigue".

I love the show The Newsroom. Best Buy matched Amazon's price of $25, and for Blu-ray/DVD/Digital combo pack of a TV show, I couldn't pass it up.

The DVD of season 1 of "The Newsroom" is excellent entertainment. The DVD itself was in good condition and was delivered in a timely manner.

Just watch the first 10 min of episode 1 on season 1 and you will instantly become a fan. Some of the most truthful writing in years.

I caught an episode on HBO while on vacation and when I got home I started watching this series from the beginning and got hooked!

This series has it all. Great writing, directing and acting. It gives you a better (much needed) impression of the television press.

We really enjoyed this show! Fast paced with a good plot. I would recommend this to everyone that is politically aware.

If you look at the underlying premise of the show, it challenges you to think outside the box of the status quo. In other words, if you have a certain political persuasion don't accept the "truth" because it is the message but look for the truth yourself. An important message in the day when we are constantly bombarded by media.

This is such a good show, and the second season gives a great look at the the process they follow to build a story.
