This movie is far from a complex story line. They present many clearly symbolic events or items with no explanation and Kira Knightly does not nail her character by any means. That being said, the graphics are fantastic! The visual alone makes it an awesome holiday movie for kids.

This is a movie great for kids, but does not capture the usual Disney formula of being quite as entertaining for adults. With the Nutcracker being a renowned Russian Ballet, you would never be able to tell from this movie, which is a shame.

There was ONE left at my store and I had to get it. Couldnt resist the price !

My granddaughter who is almost 6 enjoyed it and our 3 year old Grandson even watched the whole movie with her. I enjoyed it as well. It reminded me of Chronicles of Narnia movies but without the family. It was about a daughter.

First off, this film is STUNNING. The costumes, sets and backdrops make for a wondrously enjoyable tale. The story is a mix of Alice in Wonderland meets Chronicles of Narnia with a touch of holiday spice. It’s thoroughly entertaining and worth a watch.

Love the music throughout the movie. Was on sa ale so makes the purchase even better. We all know about movies online and most of the time we stick with these But this is one that belongs in the collection.

Disney did a wonderful job on this movie. The acting was very good from everyone. Great story. It’s a movie we will watch every Christmas holiday. The 4K was very good and the sound from my receiver was excellent. Thank you Disney.

I didn't think it was going to be very good. The premise was interesting so I bought it. I have to say, it was better than I thought. I wasn't a great movie, but entertaining enough to fill an evening.

Great story about a girl who journeys into other realms at a Christmas party and meets a nutcracker and sugar plum fairy, among others - and has amazing adventures. Beautiful storyline. Gorgeous costumes. Excellent special effects.

I like the adventure and wonder of the holidays and what a classic the Nut Cracker has become over the decades. If you like the current trend of live action/animated mix of newer Disney movies being retold you will enjoy this one.

This movie was not boring at all. I kinda liked other nut cracker movies, but this one was quite interesting and kept my attention. It sort of had a feel like alice in wonderland had (with johnny depp). I got the steel book.

Steal case offers some wonderful art, with embosed outer shell and large character profile pics on the inside. The film itself with worth a watch, and if your a fan, this steel book will stand out in your movie collection

Though it din't do well in the theaters I definitely enjoyed Disney's spin on this Christmas classic. I am glad I waited for the DVD though versus the in theater ticket cost for my family

This movie was absolutely BEAUTIFUL on the big screen and looks just as amazing on Blu-ray! It is a terrific story and great for the whole family...with lots of great bonus features.

The steelbook is such great quality and it is absolutely stunning. After seeing the film, I knew I had to get this! It is such a beautiful and heartfelt film and this is such a great addition to my collection.

If you are expecting a nutcracker rendition, you are dismayed. The Mouse King is a hero and the sugar plum fairy played by Kiera Knightly, is the villain, and she does a great job!

This movie gives you a different perspective on the Nutcracker. It was interesting and had a few twists. The ending was good but I felt it could have been a little stronger.

I was a little skeptical but excited when Disney announced this movie. I really enjoyed this version of a wonderful ballet classic. Music was amazing. Definitely worth watching.

I know a lot of people weren’t blown away with this movie but I feel it’s a good holiday movie with the nutcracker theme. The visuals look awesome and I felt it’s worth buying. You be the judge

Absolutely stunning visuals on this film well represented on the blu-ray edition in this set. Immersive surround sound. Will add to our holiday film rotation going forward.
