This game has great graphics and a story that, although slow to pick up speed, becomes deep and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the combat mechanics are relatively basic and by the time that you are truly invested in the story and the relationships between characters, the game leaves many questions unanswered and the gamer is left "scratching their heads."

First off the game looks amazing. Now that's out of the way, I can say the game is worth picking up but probably not at full retail price. It's on the short side but the game play feels pretty good (although there are a lot of cut / interactive scenes with limited involvement). It's nice to see new IPs and I hope this game gets a sequel.

The game is gorgeous and has interesting plot, game setting and characters. I loved how the game looked and the story. Everyone keeps complaining about the cutscenes but I didn't think they were that bad. After you beat the game there really any replay value so put the difficulty on the hardest! Overall gear game looking forward to a sequel!

The most important thing first - If you like a god story based game...you will LOVE this game, period! I am tired of all the haters out there who say the game is too short or not worth it because they are comparing it to the GTAs Far Crys etc. out there. I have played said games myself, loved them and think it is great that there is tons of stuff to do....HOWEVER just because this game is much shorter than those games doesn't make it a worse buy. I played this game and truly enjoyed every minute of it. The graphics are the BEST currently out on PS4 and the game is simply fun to play. The quick action scenes are not as plentiful as some gamers stated and I found them very well done! To keep a long story short, bite the bullet and sign up for my gamers club (this will allow you to buy full priced games for $48 instead for 2 full years...and then enjoy this game! Don't hesitate...it was a lot of fun and I can't wait for the sequel!

The game is gorgeous beyond belief. The story is interesting and you will want more. The game is long enough to finish in a weekend. You dont get enough time with the weapons and its on rails so not much exploring. All and all it's a solid game for me. Sony has something to build on for the future, it's just not all the way there yet.

The order 1886 is a great looking game even offers some interesting weapons but the game feels like its on rails for the limited amount interactions available in the game. Would highly recommend you rent not buy this game

I enjoyed the story but after you beat it there is no reason to go back.I also enjoyed the weapons there were some unique ones.I wish there was muiltyplayer .I would recommend you wait for a sale or borrow from a friend.

This was a pretty good game. The graphics were awesome and the guns were cool, and the story was good up until the end where it just ends, abruptly. That was kind of disappointing. But it was clear they're going to make a sequel. When that comes out, I'll definitely play it. Some co-op or multiplayer would make this game better.

Rudimentary first person shooter with no extras and no replayability. The story is cool but not terribly deep and somewhat cliche. However,, easily the best graphics I've seen on the ps4 yet. This is definitely a rental.

If you like a good story, decent gameplay, amazing graphics, and top notch quality look no further than THE ORDER. The game is short and there is not much to do after the end credits but for the experience at hand--this is an excellent game and leaves you wanting the developer to continue their work in this world they have created.

Good game, good graphics, good story, a little short

Easily the best graphics I've seen in a game. Great story. Problem is the term "game" is used loosely. It's more of an interactive movie with very little control. Got the game for free when I bought the system.

This is a very pretty game with a good story. Yes, it is linear but a game like this now and then isn't nessisarily bad. Many of the high action sequences are QuickTime events. I would easily believe it was a sacrifice made to keep the visuals even throughout.

The story and graphics for this game are simply fantastic. However, the entire game only takes about 7-8 hrs to complete. Even if you take your time and look for all the collectibles in the game, it still falls short in total gameplay time. If you are a trophy hunter, this will be your easiest Platinum trophy to achieve.

It's not often I get done with a game and still want to play more. This was one of the few cases. Taking about 8 hours to get through on hard, coupled with a super pretty and cinematic presentation, it made for an experience I've never had in games before, even with the average 3rd person shooting. It has it's hiccups, wonky AI at times, blocky shadows that don't fade in and out properly, and the cinematic presentation can get in the way of itself. There are a few times where you'll be watching a cut scene and you'll suddenly die in an unexpected quick-time event because you thought it was safe to put the controller down. Overall, I really liked the story, characters, and average gameplay. There are definitely more games that offer "more bang for your buck," as this one has comparably less content, but it was a good buy for me. Can't wait for DLC.

This is a beautiful looking game and interesting story. Great if you can find it on sale. It's on the shorter end of games (6-10 hours) but to be honest I really enjoyed that it wasn't a massive open-world game that I'm probably not going to finish.

This game is absolutely beautiful. If you want to show off the capability of your ps4 and hi def tv, this is your game. Primarily a story based game. Think of a movie that you get to play. It is relatively short though, the ending leaves you wanting more.

This is a "cinematic" game, to be sure: lots of cut-scenes, too many QTEs, etc. but it also sports the best graphics I've ever seen, a reasonably interesting story, good acting and impressive production values. For me, still a worthwhile purchase and hopefully this kind of quality will extend to future PS4 games.

It's a shame. This game is seriously a great work of art. The fact that this game was rated and beaten down for play time alone is such a shame. I've never been one to judge a game on playtime alone. I would rather play a fantastic 1 hour game then a drawn-out 40 hour piece of garbage. My best examples of this are ICO and Journey. Both games short but very sweet. I know others will say this was another cookie-cutter over-the-shoulder shooter that was forgettable but I thoroughly enjoyed it and perhaps the biggest plus for me was...NO LAUNCH DAY DLC! I cannot overstate how ecstatic I was that there was not a load of "Season Pass" things to gouge me or microtransaction me to death. I do see there is some small Knight's Arsenal but this is nothing compared to other games. I love that fact that they gave a whole game. Great game, enjoyed it.

Great new game. Has potential for long series. Would love to see made into a movie. Graphics are fantastic. Gameplay a little stale/slow at times. Must push triangle a lot during game. Some interspersed chapters consist of only videos and no gameplay to tie in story. You will either love or hate this.
