    In a way the spiritual successor to Star Trek TNG, DS9, and Voyager because Discovery is its own thing. Great show. Has it all. Humor, drama, great stories. Sci fi fans should love it. I’m NOT a fan of Seth McFarlane but he’s enjoyable enough here

    Seth is a frikken genius and I'm now his biggest fan! The tag line for this series should be "To go where no idiot should have ever been allowed to go!" I'm still laughing my assets off!

    A well-balanced mix of humor and drama makes for a fun flight thru space. Hope there is more coming on DVD soom!

    A great series that would be a worthy successor to the Star Trek franchise. Which is what Seth McFarlane set out to do. And succeeded.

    The first season focused more on humor: season 2 is more serious - but still FAR better than the new Star Trek. Far. Better. But I do wish the writers would go back to a bit more humor; S2 is almost too dry. BTW: Season 3 is confirmed but it will only be on Hulu.

    Fantastic show. Wish they would stop doing DVD and release it on Bluray or 4k. But since its all that is available I had to get it :(

    This is such an awesome and great show too bad their isn't a Bluray version of this, but still a great buy for just $19.99

    The second season is just as good as the first. “The Orville” continues to use Sci-Fi to address social problems in a thought provoking manner. Good plot lines, some serious, some humorous, makes this a good series.

    Starts out rough but gets better. Some of the best, funniest episodes are in S2. Well written and well cast show. Highly recommended.

    Crafted in the spirit of the original Star Trek TV series and seasoned with comedy — imaginative, intelligent, culturally relevant, and entertaining. Season 2 seems as likable as Season 1.
