What happens when a woman finds out that her perfect man has been lying to her and has a wife? If you're Cameron Diaz, you kick him to the curb, but her ex-boyfriend's wife is a lot harder to push away. Uncertain of what to do now that her world is shattered as she finds out her husband has cheated on her with a beautiful woman, she latches onto the other woman. Cameron's character is a strong willed lawyer and begins to come up with a plan, but Leslie Mann (the wife) finds out that not only was her husband cheating on her, but there is another "other woman". The three women decide that they need to take him down in way that maybe, just maybe the serial cheater might learn a lesson. The Other Woman is very funny and the actresses have greater comedic timing and good rapport with each other. It is a movie that I will watch more than once for sure.

I was hesitant to see this film, but boy was I glad I did! It was a bucket of laughs from beginning to end. Leslie Mann OWNS this film, but shares her screen time with Cameron Diaz and Kate Upton, two women who hold up their end of the deal. While many have panned this film for being formulaic, I disagree. We are entertained by the extremes in our society, and we love to tell stories about what has happened in our lives. Would this really happen in real life? Maybe, maybe not, but that is irrelevant. What you have before you is a smooth ride with laughs, tears, and sighs. While the theme is revenge against a cheating husband, the story reveals that life is about the ups, the downs, and the friends we make along the way that get us through the tough times. Five stars for The Other Woman!

The Other Woman may provoke a smile or two, and maybe even a passing giggle here and there, but it's hardly in the ribald arena frequented by Melissa McCarthy or the Farrelly Brothers. Diaz seems to be lost here, leaving most of the heavy lifting to Mann, who is saddled with a completely neurotic character who basically careens from crisis to crisis. This film did very well at the box office, proving critical brickbats can only go so far in defeating a star of Cameron Diaz's immense allure, and for what seems to be the sizable fan base for this film, the good news is that the presentation here is top notch.

Funny at so many points but the basic story is sad because the husband is unfaithful in a marriage where the wife loves, trusts and cares for him. It is uplifting and inspiring when three woman bond and support each other that sadly have one thing in common - the unfaithful man. In the end, it shows the strength of woman and the value of our friendships.

Cameron Diaz stars in this, with 2 other non-famous actresses. All 3 learn that one guy is two-timing all 3 of them, and they start a payback program. Diaz is convincing as a party girl, and the other 2 are fine. It's not Shakespeare nor strong drama, but if you just want lighthearted fun, this is a good film. It's also good for a party, you don't have to catch every scene. And, there's no violence or guns, yay.

This movie had more potential. Too bad they had the extreme over acting which got on my nerves.

This is your average date movie it's got its funny moments but nothing really special about it.

This is one of those movies that is just a guilty pleasure that you watch on a rainy day.

We had the opportunity to catch this movie before it was released in theaters...and went, paid to see it after its regular theatrical release with friends, and bought it for our chick flick collection. Cute move with some positive and negative female characters. I love me some Carmen. Uptown was a bonus. Some slow moments, but fun movie overall. We love the digital copy as an option to view a anywhere and anytime.

This is a cute, albeit predictable, movie starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and newcomer Kate Upton. All do a credible job given a plot line that at times seems overused. There is some pretty good comedy and the chemistry between the three women works well. All in all, the movie won't win an Oscar, but if you're looking for a cute, lighthearted comedy for a cold winter evening, this movie should fit the bill.

Although I did like this movie I just cannot seem to get past a "good" rating. Love all the actors but they just did not seem to mesh very well and the movie just seemed to be missing something. Don't get me wrong, Kate Upton is a beautiful woman but her acting was just so-so. I expected better from Cameron and Leslie but it just did not work for me. Oh, and for Nicki Minaj? Stick to being a musician.

Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann are a great team up. Having Nicki Minaj, Kate Upton as supporting actresses makes it even better. I never listen to the movie critics because they always have self serving agendas that they think pass off as opinions. I know they didn't rate this one too well. The ones they say to see are bad the ones they say not too end up being the best ones.
