Was looking all over for this movie to give a friend as a gift. It was received early and was a great find. They were really on the ball with this.

I love this movie not only for its sonic prowess, but because I am a junkie for this genre of movie. Although not always a huge Clooney or Kidman fan - they both "work" in this movie. A movie like this is always relevant during the times we live in and that is why I am drawn to movies like this and watch them over and over. It also gives one pause to ponder the motivations of each of the characters - including the "antagonists"'.

This was made pre-9/11 in a genre style that is similar to a Tom Clancy type of thriller. This was a good vehicle for George Clooney, but he plays it with a typical bravado, and Nicole tends to overact her part which tends to lessen the tension of the film at times. But it still has a good plot and excellent character actors who carry the film with real seriousness.

My husband bought this using his best buy account and reviewed it, then we had our accounts merged, and all his old purchases are showing up on MY review page, so I'm re-reviewing so-to-speak to get the points.

This is a decent movie by director Mimi Leder about the risk of a terrorist getting a nuke and bringing it to the US. The plot moves and George Clooney does an admirable job as a special ops soldier, with Nicole Kidman as his executive branch partner.

My only copy till this one was VHS .This version is medium however is better than the VHS by far.Color and video makes this movie a good watch.

George Clooney and Nicole Kidman really brought this movie to life. What great casting. It really works. Good chemistry between them helps, and a story that could be as real today as during Cold War times.

Great movie and a great price. I enjoyed watching it again as much as when it first came out.

I really enjoyed this film but then again I enjoy most films with George Clooney in it.

A pretty good plot, excellent acting, and plenty of action. I call it an unknown gem.
