I did not like this game. It was frustrating and graphics were choppy. I do not recommend this at all. Save your money for a better game.

The Persistence is a survival horror "stealth" shooter with RPG elements originally released for PSVR. The Switch version is not a bad rendition, though I'm sure the VR version has a lot more depth to it. The main gimmick of the game is that each deck is procedurally regenerated every time you enter it. It usually works pretty well, but feels unpolished. The "story progression" sections that work as boss fights are exceptionally gimmicky, and a few just feel like early 2000s stuff. Maybe it's more interesting in VR. Really, the main challenge of the game is figuring out how to clear rooms quickly and deal with the very sporadic "wave" fights (usually around loot crates). Once you've figured this out survival becomes pretty trivial. New Game+ makes this a bit harder (at times bordering on frustrating). I wouldn't pay full price for this game though.
