    This game reminds me of penny punching princess in some ways with the coin collecting and traps in the floor, etc. However there is much more stuff going on with regards to leveling up and praising/scolding the princess...confusing at first. I'm sure with time, i'll understand more. The graphics are good. It is fun while i am learning the mechanics. Nice addition to the collection.

    It is quite fun to be able to play and the mechanics are fairly interesting, but it isn’t a game that will get you insanely interested in the story. I would say it fits more in playing small bursts of it at least in my opinion since the map itself is easily the most annoying part.

    This a fast pace game with a play style that lets you turn off your brain. Fun in small spurts which make it perfect for the switch in portable mode.

    First off, like 90% of these 5-star reviews on BB read like complete shill reviews, so take them with a grain of salt. The game has a 4.7/10 user review on Metacritic. So this does NOT add up. https://www.metacritic.com/game/switch/the-princess-guide I purchased a used from GameStop a few months back and returned it the second I got a chance. So happy I did not buy this new as it was just a complete bore. Cover art looked intriguing but the gameplay and game mechanics were just awful - almost ZERO explanation of the game mechanics - they just dump you straight into the game. And I own and do enjoy the similar Penny-Punching Princess, but this felt like a more stale, copy/paste job. Definitely a pass. Maybe for $15 digital, but this should not have been physical.
