Bought this movie after seeing scare zone at Halloween Horror Nights. ..good movie but thought sequel was better...don't have to see this one to see Anarchy...

I really liked the movie. Its low budget and cobbled together, but there is a message, a snapshot about where we were headed in 2013. And it gave us insight into the early American emotional state that led to the 2016 election and election outcome.

Love this franchise! Each movie feels like a different genre. First one is straight up horror, second is probably the BEST punisher movie I've ever seen and the 3rd is a like a political thriller. Can't wait for the 4th movie and the new tv series!

The movie concept was really intriguing to me, and the beginning of the movie really pulled me into the story. But, then, all of a sudden, it just became a simplistic "blood and guts" movie with non-stop violence. There was a lot of subtext that was introduced, but never followed up on. Then the ending was basically, "Okay, now it's over." I left feeling a little disappointed. I would say that it was good for a single viewing and had I known, I would have rented it online.

One day out of the year the United States lets its people go buck wild and do anything to anyone to let off some steam. Just have to say wow.

This movie was a good purchase. A lot of movies aren't worth buying because I only watch them once. This is one I can watch several times and still enjoy it.

If you don't add this to your collection I just don't know what to say about that. Amazing movie clear and detailed picture

Ok...having seen the second one first i was not sure how the first one was... now that i have seen it it was a great film..it all takes place in a home but the intensity is still there...great acting and had me on edge through out the film...worth checking out!

Even though the movie has some flaws, I still think it's pretty good. Good suspense and edge of your seat type stuff within the bigger premise of it.

I will keep it short and simple. Original premise that almost lived up to it. I won't say why because that Would ruin the movie. Once you watch it you will know what I'm talking about. If you liked the remake of assault on precient 13 than you will like this movie.

Once a year there is a night where all crime is legal. But things go terribly wrong when a family let's in a stranger after they've sealed their home up.

Overall the film was a gritty flick with thrilling moments the acting was good as well as directing but like every horror flick it's something expected

I was skeptical about how this movie would be, but it was a very good thriller. Enjoyed it much more than I expected to initially. Worth a watch!

This movie has a different view on society and how to take care of the bad seeds. Very interesting story. Kind of scary thinking.

The Purge has helped to reinvigorate the horror genre by showing us something new that in this day and age could actually happen

I enjoyed this DVD. The movie was a good quality. I sawit first on my old 32" Sony antiquated box TV. On black Friday I bought a 50" Samsung Smart TV from you guys that was delivered last week. Oh man the quality of this DVD was greatly improved.

Great movie for the imaginative movie buff. Great story line. Acting could have been better. But it all comes together for a solid 8/10 movie.

I was a bit underwhelmed with this movie. However I did rebuy this 4k collectible steelbook edition because I think all the other movies in the series are good and worth rewatching and I dont like incomplete collection. It is a fairly gruesome bloody movie and the concept as a whole is terrifying. Others I know absolutely love this movie. Overall the franchise is pretty good.

This is the first in a series of Purge movies. It is my favorite and had an unusual story line. Good acting.

Great acting. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. Great movie to share with someone while eating popcorn. A must see.
