Let's get that out of the way first. If you don't want to be "preached" to, then don't bother. Now, as far as the movie goes, I loved it. It made me laugh out loud and cry in spots. The story is about a former child actor that must do community service or time. He does his community service in a local church where he ends up as Jesus in their Easter Play. From there, we are offered the story of redemption and eventually the resurrection of Gavin. Don't be surprised. You knew we would get there. But it's the getting there that makes the story funny and interesting.

This movie is great. The acting is good and the story line, though predictable at times, is a great message about forgiveness and how a person can change. I do not recall any foul language, nudity or anything else that would be inappropriate for young children, though there is a bar scene.

Christian movies are getting better and better these days and this one is no different. I highly recccomend this movie to everyone because of the great story line, humor and realism of the film. It really will please any family movie night for adults and children alike.

I like the movie ,Would give it 3 and a 1/2 stars .The plot was pretty good .The actors did a good job . The church production of the life of Jesus was a little too well done to be believable For a church group .But I did enjoy the movie .It seemed pretty predictable in the end how it was going to turn out ,Still a nice break from all the violence we see in all the other movies that are out these days .

This is a very cute comedy Christian movie, plus Shawn michaels is in it.

Great family Christian movie, entertaining story, without pushing religion in your face!

I would recommend this movie to anyone that likes christian movies and laughing.
