Scream Factory has done it again with another jam packed collector's edition. The new transfer is a bit of an upgrade over the previous MGM Blu Ray release, but the Special Features is where set shines. Multiple commentaries, documentary after documentary. If you want "More Brains", this is the edition for you.

The fact that it pokes fun at Night Of The Living Dead is what somewhat attracted me to this movie, and it is really fun to watch. More than just a zombie movie, it's a funny 80's horror comedy that you'll want to let anybody that hasn't seen it know about. The collector's edition from Scream Factory is a must-own.

I absolutely LOVE 'The Return Of The Living Dead'. Now this is a classic, one of the best zombie films right along with George Romero's Night,Dawn, and Day of the Dead Trilogy films. From start to finish does a film really get any better than this classic does. Not only is it dark with lots of scares but it's funny. It delivers in all aspects. I adore the settings and locations of where it takes place- the cemetery. I love the old D.C Comics style of the zombies. All the dialogue in the film is hilarious, the actors are superb in their roles

I waited a long time to get this movie. Finally got it,definitely a favorite of mines for years. If you like your horror movies with some comedy,I highly recommend it.

This DVD collection is the pinnacle of the noted film! Not only is the picture quality the best it can be, but the bonus features make it all worth the while! I would certainly recommend this DVD collection to anyone wanting to watch the film.

One approach “The Return of the Living Dead” takes is by breaking alot of the “zombie” rules that we’ve come to know. Zombies chase, some talk, shots to the brain are ineffective and body parts are able to animate on there own without being connected to the central core. Not only that ,but a few of the “Night of the Living dead” scenarios are combined into the story making it quite a mixture of old ideas with new. Before Shaun of the Dead came this horror comedy.

This is to me the PERFECT FILM. It is scary, funny, over-the-top, and memorable. The unofficial sequel to The Night of The Living Dead, this film has an incredible history behind its production which is included in the bonus disk of this release. It still holds up today and it deserves more praise.

Strictly tongue in cheek...this movie inspired in George Romero's 1968 horror classic hits on all counts. Believable performances a nifty plot and did I mention head-chomping zombies??? Beautifully remastered. I was too young to watch it in 1986... But really enjoyed my first viewing 30 years later.

While I may be a little biased, this movie is a classic! That being said, it isn't going to be for everyone though due to the heavy humor base. This is the best the release has ever looked and the extra content definitely makes it worth the second, third or even seventh purchase.

One of the all time horror classics. I can't say anything bad about this movie. I will say it contains graphic female nudity along with everything else one would expect from a zombie film.

I saw this movie when I was teenager in the 80's. I was expecting some cheap horror entertainment, what a surprise I got. It was unexpectedly different that it mixed horror with comedy with just the right balance. I got a good moviegoing experience that night.

I actually missed this movie back in the 80s, and didn't discover it until adulthood. I didn't know what I was missing; this movie is a blast. Ramping up the black comedy inherent in the zombie concept, "Return" still contains everything else you love from the genre.

If you are looking to pick up a blu-ray of Return if the Living Dead, make it this Collector’s Edition from Scream Factory. Packed with extras and the transfer of the film looks amazing. It even includes the More Brains! documentary which is a great watch.

Cheesy 80's special effects and serious acting over comedy/horror script = fun times! I hadnt seen this movie in over 30 years and some of the funnier parts went right over my head as a child. But not this time, I enjoyed it with fresh eyes. If old school B- movies are your thing, try this one. If not, just keep it moving.

WoW! the picture quality has been improved over the previous blu-ray release and now with newly added extras such as audio commentaries and videos covering the FX and music. This release is sure to "kill the pain". And a snazzy new cover to boot!

Honestly if it wasn't for me buying an LG OLED, I probably wouldn't have picked up this movie. IT's one of my favorites from the 80's and it honestly looks like it was made 10 years ago because of the OLED up-scaling and picture itself. GREAT special features as well.

that balances these 2 genres extremely well. Extras are tremendous. Best of all the inclusion of feature length doc "More Brains" in the 2 disc set. Don Calfa and Clu Gulager steal the show from the younger actor's. Their banter is hilarious. But Miguel Nunez stands out as Spider. The soundtrack is also very good and memorable. Tarman is one gross slimey zombie and the ambulatory way he moves is still disconcerting.

This is one of my favorite zombie movies, it doesn't follow the traditional zombie rules though these zombies talk, and can't really be killed. Don't let that steer you away though, because this movie is pure 80s goodness that shouldn't be passed up.

Personally, I love this movie. I have watch it so many times throughout my life. It is one of my all time favorites. I like the movie, the actors, the soundtracks and come on it's a classic. I've owned it in VHS, then DVD and now blu Ray. Need I say more.
