Once denied permission to play in Tokyo back in 1973, the band was finally welcomed to Japan in 1990 for this series of concerts at the Tokyo Dome. The Live at the Tokyo Dome tape was carefully reclaimed from the vaults, and the new audio mix by Bob Clearmountain is exceptionally restored.

This is a really cool series. All of the video and audio have been completely restored. I like how they give you the option to either buy DVDs or Blu ray...

If you are a Stones fan, you have to appreciate the "From the Vault" series. All good to great shows, sounding and looking better than ever!

The footage is shot in 4:3 with TV cameras. The bluray is a bit overkill. The audio is excellent however.

Great concert! a must have for a die hard Stones fan!

Great follow up & better than the Tattoo You tour.

This series of older shows captures the stones on many of their tours and showcases the different characteristics of each. This one is from 1989/1990 Steel Wheels tour. Maybe not as strong as some of their previous tours ('72, '81), this disc captures the first tour that I personally attended and brings back vivid memories of another lifetime ago. 'Sad, Sad, Sad', 'Mixed Emotions' are songs you rarely hear done live and refreshing to hear. Staples 'Honky Tonk Women' and 'Sympathy for the Devil' don't fail in the Dome. Add this to your collection of 'From the Vault' discs. You won't be disappointed.

This Rolling Stones concert showed a renewed energy band that was hitting the road for the 1st time in a few years. They had a fairly new album they were touring behind. The Japan dates were towards the end of the tour and the Stones were totally in synch. I love "live" music, as well as the Stones, so I may be biased. I love the energy and sound od the crowd, and the audience in Tokyo does not disappoint as the are loud, energetic, and appreciative. The order and flow from 1 song to the next is a great mix of old and new, with the energy never ending. loved it and its in my car cd player right now. Cheers!!

Really enjoyed this Bluray DVD of the Rolling Stones from their archive from the vault edition series performed in 1990 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. These are the first concerts ever perform in Japan, done with a lot of their hits, stage antics, good background singers, and band, as well as good sound engineering and video.

This is a fantastic recording that also has the video of the show also. this is one of a series of five or six live shows that have been released over the last few years. I actually recommend all of them and only a couple of them are not available in Blu-ray. Yeah there's a lot of stones out there but this is one of those must for any Stones fan especially of Live music..

The price was right since it was on clearance at the time. It does offer some protection for Apple IPhone Model 5 only.

The Rolling Stones deliver their vintage sound backing the Steel Wheels album. Good video quality and 2 CDs of the concert with standout performances of classics "Start Me Up", "Honky Tonk Women" and the new cut at that time "Rock and a Hard Place." The Stones Roll!!

Outstanding sound quality on this release and great song selection from this 1982 show. Nice to also see some video in good quality from this tour.

You can pretty much guarantee a great viewing and listening experience with a live Stones CD or DVD, and this set has both.
