What can I say other than this is probably one the best movies you can watch as a child in the summer time with your family or friends on a hot summer night! I’ve got great memories from watching this movie with my cousins during the summer.

Great movie and glad I own an updated version of this. Do not want to rely on streaming services when I feel like watching this one. Mainly since I do not subscribe to most services since there are so many of them now.

If you are considering getting this movie chances are you have already seen it and you wanna relive it or maybe pass it on to your offspring. Great transfer the picture and sound is crisp. The acting is pretty cringe worthy at some points but it is a kids movie (albeit big kids) so it comes with the territory. Still a great movie and it comes with a pretty cool prize inside!

I remember seeing this film in theaters in 1993, it was soooooo amazing. I saw it again for the second time two years later when I went to Disneyland. I woke up turned on the tv in my hotel room, & it was on at 6am in the morning. &, to this day I hold on to that morning with great pride & such awesome memories, thank you sandlot.

This is for all the baseball fan, this movie is great some of the scenes I can relate to as a baseball player ( not professional ). this movie is funny touching it puts a smile on your face, this is for all the baseball lovers, watch it with your kids you will love it.

Great kids/adult movie that everyone will enjoy. For the adults, it lets them think about their childhood and for kids, its all-around great movie. This movie is timeless, I mean, you could watch it FOR-E-VER

Great story of a bunch of kids, who love baseball, try to retrieve a one of a kind signed baseball from a neighbor with a notorious dog that guards it. Many scenes, sayings, are classic and thoroughly enjoyable, especially if you grew up watching this movie.

Classic movie that anyone who grew up in the sixty's can relate to. If you love baseball and played in your neighborhood sandlot, you experienced this or knew somebody who did. Best Buy service was great. On time and the product was in perfect condition.

This is one of those movies which has been around for quite some time, but seems to have a few extra features than the initial Blu-ray release. Also, this particular 20th Anniversary Edition looked better to me. The Sandlot is hilarious, and if you haven't seen it, get it! If you want a comedy for the entire family--without a bunch of swearing, get this. You won't regret it!

My children watched this while they were growing up and I thought it would be a wonderful experience to share a movie they loved when they were children with their children

This movie is a timeless classic in terms of childrens baseball movies. It rates above others like angels in the outfield or rookie of the year. A joyous comedy for the entire family to enjoy and now remastered in Blu-Ray, it can't get any better.

I've loved this movie since it came out. I watch every time it came on TV and I finally had to buy it. A good wholesome movie about making friends as young child. This movie resonated with me on a personal level, but it's still a classic. Everyone should watch this movie, if you haven't already.

This is one of the best movies ever made about being a kid and having friends and living in a neighborhood. I am tempted to say it is perfect for boys, but I don't think it has to be about girls for girls to love it too. If you were a kid, it will make you feel that way again. If you are a kid, it is just a lot of fun. Great Movie, period.

On sale, at $4.99, this was a no brainer purchase. I was already in my teens, by the time this movie was released, but it brought back such great feelings of being a young kid. For me, my sport was basketball, but still loved all sports and watching the Sandlot, reminded me of all the times I'd play sports outdoors with my friends. And of course, I thought I was the leader of the bunch. For parents who have kids old enough to understand, this movie is worth showing to them. At $4.99 sale price...another no brainer, especially for parents with pre-teen kids. It might be "cheezy" for them, but still would give them an appreciation for the non-youtube/internet/netflix years.

In an attempt to keep my childhood memories alive I've decided to buy some classic films in blue ray format. This here is one of those flicks. If you liked it before you'll like it again in blu-ray. If you've never watched it, well... I have no words, I'll just shake my head in shame.

A Movie that Draws Back to When We Were All Kids and Met to Play Together-Classic Summers. When We All Grew Up-Where Those Times Led All of Us.--I Highly Recommend.

Best movie for all baseball fans of all ages. The trials the kids go through is so funny and their plans to get the ball back makes you laugh the entire time When they found out all they had to do was knock on the door, they not only got their chewed ball back, but also got a better ball in return.

This movie has, is and always will be a timeless classic for all ages. 'The Sandlot' has a bit of almost every genre, and plenty of take aways, i.e, "You're killin' me Smalls!" If you haven't seen it, you're missing out. It's a timeless, coming of age movie for everyone. Deserving of every star!

I bought this not just for nostalgia reasons, but for my eventual kid(s) to watch. Yeah, I'm preparing that far in advance. Probably the best parent ever... anyway, they don't make kids movies like they used to. And I don't want any kid of mine to miss out on what's really worth watching.
