If you've caught any of my other reviews, you know we are all about the Friday Family Film Festival nights. This is a good one for when the youngers are off with the grandparents and we can settle in with our popcorn, blankets, and older kids to watch this nostalgia-filled flick. I think the second half might have been "better" than the first, but in any case, it all harkens back to a "simpler" time.... I guess. ;)

Such a classic movie! The packaging is modern, and the quality of the blu-ray is great, with clear and crisp color and sound. I also love that it comes with a digital copy.

Obviously the first Super Troopers was legendary, so we all had high hopes for the sequel. It didn’t disappoint, by no means is it as great as the first, but they definitely put out a product that was worth the wait.

"Remember kid, there's heroes and there's legends. Heroes get remembered but legends never die, follow your heart kid, and you'll never go wrong." This was my favorite film as a child and still after 22 years it still has a special place in my heart.

I have watched this movie many, many times and it still makes me laugh and makes me feel good. There is a sweet message about friendship, teamwork, having fun, and learning from everyday life experiences. One of my favorites!

This movie is my childhood. This movie is summer. This movie is baseball. This movie makes you nostalgic even if you grew up in a different time or place; it's story and feeling is universal.

The best movie! Fun fact, the story is based on the writer’s experience growing up in the San Fernando Valley in late 50’s early 60’s after moving from Minnesota.

This is a perfect family movie. It's funny , sentimental, and teaches excellent life messages to children of all ages. This entertaining movie will stand the test of time. It would be even better to view during baseball and softball season!!

THIS MOVIE IS GREAT! IT TAKES ME BACK TO WHEN ME AND MY BOYFRIEND WERE YOUNG AGAIN! WE BOTH LOVED THIS MOVIE GROWING UP AND WHEN WE SEEN BEST BUY HAD IT WE HAD TO GET IT!!! SOMETHINGS JUST NEVER GET OLD AND THE SADLOT IS ONE OF THEM!!

This is my sons favorite movie! He could watch it on demand or have it recorded on the DVR but there is nothing like the security of having a hard copy so he can watch it whenever he wants without the fear of it being deleted!!!

This movie is a family classic in our house. Watched this as a family movie night long ago. Kids as well as adults loved it and continue to watch again and again yet today. Loads of 'one liners' comedy along with drama make for a great movie.

Love watching this classic family movie about the boys’ summer playing ball and their efforts to get the Babe Ruth ball back from “The Beast”. Very convenient to have the digital copy with the Blu-ray as well.

I always get a little nervous introducing my now 15 year old to movies that I watched growing up. I always get super excited when she takes to one of my favorites. This Movie is a classic and a must have for a family movie night

Even though this is just a repackage of the original release, the added goodies really add to the nostalgia. The outer slip has a nice rubbery texture and the included cards are great. At the price this has been showing up lately its a great deal.

This movie is not perfect, but the cast is alot of fun to watch and it feels like a real experience. Its funny and a bit dramatic at times which works with what happens through the movie. A fun time for all movie lovers.

This is one of the best kids baseball movies in American time. If you grew up prior to the digital age and had to play outside as a kid this only brings back memories of those times. Great for the kids to watch and learn about the great bambino.

A great story with interesting characters. A nice return visit to the late 1950's era of American suburbian life that many baby boomers can relate to. A growing up story with drama and comedy from a kid's prospective.

DVD has fine quality... Bought Blu-ray, too, only because I have the player for it. Daughter doesn't have one, so bought DVD for granddaughter and really couldn't recognize much picture quality difference.

An absolute classic, combining the innocence of childhood and baseball. The sport’s cinematic answer to A Christmas Story in many ways.

This movie came out when I was a teenager; I loved it then and I still love it now. It is full of slap-stick comedy and is just an over-all great movie.
