This movie is a blast from the past. It’s gorgeous to look at and the action is wonderfully paced. They don’t make superhero movies quite like this anymore. It’s simple, elegant and vibrant.

I have been waiting for the wide screen edition to come out on Blu-Ray for quite some time. I have this movie on Laser Disc which was released as a wide screen version many years ago - I guess I can put that away now. The audio and video is excellent and, as you can tell, I am a fan of this movie. Captures the time in history when this was a radio super hero - and it doesn't have the CGI and loud noise (that passes for music) that is in all of the super hero movies today

This is one of my favorite movies. I've always loved the radio show and really like the movie. Blue ray makes it better.

Good old style movie about a 1930's radio show and this movie brings it life.

This movie is maximum cheese but i still love it. I recommend it

Great cheesy 90s comic flick. On the same level with Rocketeer, Dick Tracy, and The Phantom.

A Great Interpretation Of This Classic Character. Is Good.

I was a fan of the Shadow and a local station in my hometown of Miami, Florida would play episodes on the radio Sunday nights. My dislike was the "Laugh" it wasn't as deep and mysterious as on the radio shows. John Lone was the perfect antagonist for Alec Baldwin. Jonathan Winters was spot-on in his performance. Shout out to the late Peter Boyle and Penelope Ann Miller in their roles as Shevy and Margo Lane respectfully. Tim Curry was lame as Lone's lieutenant but the movie will bring you back in time.

Fun to watch. One of the few movies with Alex Baldwin I like.

I missed this film as a kid but had all the toys. Ibremembered seeing bits on tv but never watching it fully. This is the version to buy though. The picture quality looks great for a movie from this time. I say pick up this version of the blu ray as the transfer is worlds better than the universal releasem

This is a older movie that I originally saw in a movie theater and was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife, who has not seen it, can watch it anytime we want.

Director Russell Mulcahy's gorgeous '80s cult classic finally gets he Collector's Edition treatment from Shout Factory. Beautiful video quality is worth the price of the disc alone, in addition to the nice set of extras. A must buy for fans of the film.

Great cast! Awesome story line. Alec Baldwin is a great actor along with Ian McKellen and Penelope Anne Miller, and John Lone and Tim Curry. Would recommend this

A MOVIE ROMP! FOR FAN'S WHO'S RADIO WAS YOUR BFF.

This is one of the best comic book movies I’ve seen. Alec Baldwin nails Lamont Cranston perfectly. His story is beyond any DC or Marvel movie to date.

The Shadow is a great movie of the classic comic and we are very happy to tell you that it Rocks!

This one appears to have been re-done from the original film. I don't see any anomalies or artifacts in the picture and it looks great!

This special edition blu-ray of The Shadow is the version of the movie I’ve been waiting for. A letterboxed edition with a very clear transfer, and includes some light but fun extras.
