I have been a fan of The Shield for a while now. I just had to get this COMPLETE series for my DVD Library collection. The price was good and I couldn't pass it. So glad I bought it and now I can watch it over and over again. For those of you who are a fan of The Shield, this is a super COMPLETE collection.

The series is magnificent, the actors perform their role very well, have invited artists of superb quality. The plot of the series captivates us from the beginning and keeps us "glued" to the TV. It is a series that I recommend without doubt. When I saw first step and now I'm happy to see it again.

The show is awesome. Its the original Dirty Cop Drama... I just finished season 1 after a long binge....If you like Chicago PD this is a similar show to that. I will say that the dvd's are just stacked on top of each other which seems like they are just ready to get scratched. other than that no complaints

This is one of the best cop shows of all times. Chiklis is so good that you forget that he would be considered a bad guy, in the real world. You start to care about his character and actually hope that he finds some form of redemption. I recommend this show to everyone that I know.

This is my favorite television show and that's saying something during this age of fantastic television (Sopranos, Wire, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Mad Men, etc, etc,). The Shield is the show that really changed everything. There is no reason not to give this series a try.

Who doesn't like a good gritty dirty cop/noir story? The best part is, this show isn't very overt about its noir aspects, so you don't have to feel like you're beaten over the head with it. Sit back and appreciate its urban, pound-the-door-down narrative.

This is an amazing series, esspecially for the 25 bucks i got the entire series for, the DVDs do not have much in the way of extras in my opinion compared to a lot of other box sets, but the show is fantastic and rivals The Wire imo as two of the best shows of its time period.

I can watch this different kind of cop show that has good and bad ones and broke new ground for being so contirversial. I love Michael Chicklass and great to have all seasons in one package. I would like to see more tv shows on dvd and blueray for great prices at bestbuy.

A real pleasure to watch each episode without commercials. Well structured, fast paced. Was surprised at numerous scenes allowed under the FX banner. No complaints, was very realistic adult entertainment. A must buy for any viewers who enjoy a no nonsense adult series.

The writing is fantastic in this series about an anti-hero cop and his special squad. Sometimes you just can't help rooting for him. And the material holds up years later. Great cast also. You can't beat the deal for this set. All the seasons for the price of one!

The Shield was one of the first great cable dramas of the early 2000s and it still stands up today. This set has every season and at $30 it was practically a steal. I wish there was a better container for the DVDs inside though (it's basically 2 deep spindles).

Some of the best acting on tv. This show was overshadowed by the sopranos they were on about the same time but the sopranos got all the hype but the shield was my more gritty and realistic. In my opinion the only Drama better than this is the wire

I hadn't seen this show since it went off the air several years ago. It was always a great show with great characters and story lines. When i found the complete series at Best Buy on sale for $39 it was a definite buy for me.

This action packed show featured many memeorable characters. Look fo my buddy Matt Corboy, who was cast in the role of a one line police office and who was made into a recurring series regular on the show as Officer Ray Carlson.

I picked this box set up the first week it was out and paid less for this than I did for two regular seasons in the original cases. This is a great addition to any collection and saves space for those people who have the old boxes.

Excellent, excelent series, but the packaging consists of two deep DVD spindles, where all of the DVDs are stacked, and a cardboard guard over it. Needless to say, as you go through the season you need to pull the entire stack (half of the series) off of the spindle, or come up with another plan, like putting them aside until you can stack them all in one shot.

It's got all you need, corrupt cops, drugs, violence, betrayal, good detective work (homicide team) and even some hot chicks occasionally ;) So my conclusion is that if you like quality series with a persistent plot and cliffhangers like The Wire, Lost, Sopranos or Oz go for this one you won't regret it! It will keep you on the edge of your seat for a long time.

I really enjoyed "The Shield" TV series and was glad to purchase it now on DVD. Every week I would wait for it to come on TV, now I can watch it at my leisure. When "The Shield' 'complete series DVD's were on sale, I just ordered on the computer and got it shipped to my home and did not have to go out in the bad weather. I did get the best buy on the DVDs at Best Buy store.

My wife and I really enjoyed the show!! Could not stop watching it. One complaint though... I really do not like the packaging. The box is very durable. But the way they put the discs in there. I know there's a lot of discs and the seasons and I appreciate the cost effectiveness of only having one box. But, everything gets mixed up so easily.

Have wanted to see all episodes of this series and now I can - price is unreal, but grabbed it because of the price. In the end, I guess everyone has that human thing about themselves.
