I been having this movie on Blu ray for a very long time. When I recently picked the 4k steel book of this movie I was completely suprised at how a movie that came out in 2007 and remastered to 4k can look like a movie that was shot today. The picture quality in 4k compared to the Blu ray is stunning. As for the audio upgrade. It's not in Atmos which I wish the studio would of done. But, It does have a new remastered DTS HD track that sounds just as good. Between the picture upgrade and sound this is a good movie to have on a home theater system. The other info to note before a purchase with this steel book. In the package you only get a 4k disc and Digital code. There is no standard Blu ray included.

I really enjoyed this movie as I thought it had great stars and great acting. I think that it might be a little predictable but that did not bother me. I can watch this movie over and over. As far as the 4K Ultra HD, I totally loved the surround effects and the visual, and it is my impression that the 4K stood out visually and audio wise. I am not a professional but I have over 500 movies and I do like to compare my various formats. I highly recommend this 4K movie for all the Mark Walhberg fans!!!

This is a good movie especially for those who like action.

Shooter in 4K is a masterpiece of movie, and what a story. You will be engrossed as you watch the movie play out, you notice I am not spoiling the plot as some do. The 4k Visuals are crisp, clear, and vibrant when needed. The Surround Sound is thunderous at times with explosions or gunfire, quite realistic and not overdone. A movie that has staying power that is great to watch over and over again.

At the time of my purchase, there was only the steelbook option for UHD. Audio is an improvement over the Blu-ray. Both support 5 channels, but 4K disc features DTS (lossless) while my Blu-ray (sold separately) is with a Dolby Digital (lossy). If audio or sound isn’t the big factor for buying decision, then consider also that the visual has HDR upgrade. I noticed a difference but know that difference isn’t the most drastic. (Some may not welcome the reported upscale from 2K master - according to IMDB.) There should be at least one 4K comparison video on YouTube. Having viewed one prior to purchasing, I would recommend this route if not considering for audio.

Well, what can I say about Mark Wahlberg besides he is a great actor. He does a wonderful job with this movie. Very good action and good story. I had the old blu-ray, up graded to 4K and the picture is perfect. I would recommend this movie to all my friends and to anyone who likes this story.

My favorite movie from Mark Wahlberg. The picture quality is a good improvement from the bluray and the audio of this movie might make your neighbors complain. Mark's acting ability is still the same but overall, it's a great popcorn movie on a cold Saturday night.

Great movie finally in 4k with Dolby Vision. Excellent picture and audio. Also love the steelbook to celebrate the 15th anniversary of this movie. For some reason this movie didn't get great critic reviews but I enjoyed it.

Tight story, Mark Wahlberg and Michael Pena are a good team, Danny Glover is great as the bad guy, complimented by Louis Ferreira who has several excellent scenes.

Quality picture was improved it by dolby vision made it a great experience. No dolby atmos but the sound was improved too. I love this movie and i waited for this 4k for long time

This movie is all around great!!! Solid story, character development, perfect timing, Antoine Fuqua has been on the map since The Replacement Killers and Training Day!!!

Mark Wahlberg has an impressive resume of films and Shooter is one of them. Marky Mark as a sniper. A total renegade. Fantastic Steelbook packaging as well.

I really love this movie. I’m a big Mark Wahlberg fan, so buying this was a no brainer. The action is top notch. I highly recommend this. I give it a 10/10

One of Mark Wahlberg 's finest roles and performances. Its also a great actioner film, with great battle scenes. A must have!

I can watch this a 100 times. Good action and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The steelbox adds o package - buy it!
