This is the only Criterion Blu-Ray I have purchased. The special features go crazy in depth and the film looks as good as it possibly can, until the eventual 4K release. When watching, choose the 2.0 audio option as opposed the the new 5.1 remaster. The 5.1 is quiet and the 2.0 is superior.

I originally owned the Criterion DVD release of 'Silence of the Lambs' and was overdue for an upgrade (the DVD version wasn't enhanced for widescreen). The jump from the DVD to updated Blu-Ray is staggering - beautiful playback (especially when coupled with a 4K upscaling player) and a wealth of bonus material. The included documentaries are worth the purchase price alone. A must for fans of the film.

Very good 4K transfer, you get the original 2.0 DTS audio along with the 5.1 mix plenty of extras, and a very interesting commentary. I highly recommend getting this if you collect Criterion!

I always have to get the Criterion versions of movies that I love. This one doesn't disappoint. There are plenty of supplemental features for lovers of this movie, and it comes in the special cardboard packaging, not the standard clear, plastic case like most Criterion editions.

The new 4K master really shines, film grain is present and skin tones are natural. In this instance, besides the cellphones, this feels like something that could have been have made today.

Really nice 4K transfer of a great movie. Still some great performances from Hopkins and Foster.

Silence of the lambs is one of my all time favorites and this release is the best i have ever seen it. A must own for any criterion collector and movie enthusiast.

This masterpiece has simply never looked or sounded better. Go figure, it's the Criterion Collection that's behind such an amazing Blu-ray release.

The Criterion collection does NOT mess around when it comes to releasing classic films. This version of The Silence of the Lambs is the only version you’ll need. Great video quality and fantastic bonus features.
