I play the Sims on computer and have always found the console versions to be severely lacking. This is the first console Sims (PS4)that actually works pretty well and captures some of the functionality of the computer version

The game itself is very fun and stays true to a classic Sims game. However, there are sometimes where the mechanics to move freely across the screen can get clunky. Other than that, super fun, family-friendly, and addicting!

Bought this game for my wife a while back and she loves it. Still plays it ( 1 year later). Simple game that can get intricate with the right mind playing it. Don't get The Sims confused with an action game or minecraft because that's what it's not. Don't buy this game on a whim hoping you will like it. Buy this game because whoever it's for (yourself or as a gift) is into building a home and a town and all that good stuff. Overall, solid game and would buy again.

Game looks beautiful but the control are atrocious very hard to play need to get used to it and still haven't.. better to have mouse and keyboard

I wanted to wait a while before giving a review just because i wanted to finish the game, or at least play it for a good amount of time. The game is okay, there are a lot of added features old Sims games didnt have however i still prefer the older Sims. The open world feature is cool and theres so many different Sims/families you can create that its a little overwhelming. All in all, for the sale price i paid its not bad.

I waited for this game, only disappointed that the deluxe version wasn't available in store. The expansions are stupid and expensive, but all Sims games have had that problem. This game has brought me great joy.

I love this game so much! It’s fun and l never get bored. I love creating sims and building awesome houses.

Its much better than the console versions of the past, but its still a console version. There is WAY too much cursor use in the sims to work properly with a console. I had my hopes that they would implement the light bar or the touch pad on the PS4 controller, but its been 5 years and hardly any games use it.

Good game, the co trolls are a little wonky. But all in all it's fun.

I've been a big fan of the Sims since the original on PC. This one is great but difficult to control sometimes

I love the sims 4 the only thing i had trouble getting used to is that the menu is very different. Other thatn that it's great.

The Sims 4 for PlayStation 4 is very fun if you enjoy the old Sims games. Good details, fun plot, but they could have done even more.

Very fun to play, many more options & things to do, more than past Sims games for console. I would compare it to The Sims 3 for PC!

My husband love this game! He like this Sims game better than any other Sims game that he has ever played.

When the game finally arrived to my house, the disc was falling all over the place, and had scratches on it afterwards.

It’s not as good as the sims 2 and feels overly monetized, but a good time killer

Fun to play. Little of the same action but thing you can try and put together your self. Try and see what happens.

I remember how many hours as a kid I would spend playing the sims on pc. Would never think a game would come along that would draw me in again like that again but this one did. Though I feel this game is not better than sims 3 its still a very enjoyable experience which I find hours have passed and still eagerly await to see what will happen next

Good but not great, fun to play on console but nothing new about the series.

This is an average at best port. The controls are finicky at best on PS4.
