I was pleasantly surprised that the show came back for a second, and now third, season. It has a very interesting slant on the vampire story. Not a romanticized, misunderstood creature, but flat out evil. There is something wonderfully twisted in Del Torio, as co-author of the books and the series.

it seems like anything guiermo del toro is involved with is great. cannot wait for pacific rim 2 but this wonderful anthology of the strain will sure pass the time awesome visual splendor - highly recommend - bl

If you loved the first season of "The Strain" then the second season will not disappoint. It picks up and continues the struggles of our heroes in their new and changing world. I definitely recommend this DVD.

Very creepy series but very hard to stop watching. Tends to be a bit gory, but the story line is fascinating and characters very likable. Watched entire series, definitely worth sticking with!

This show is one of the best on TV. The story is good and the special effects are phenomenal!! The books are really good too. The show almost follows the books but some characters and events are different.

Series stays relatively true to the book trilogy. The production of the show is excellent. If you like vampires, gore and scare, you will love The Strain. Highly recommend reading the books as well.

This show gives me the creeps but its really good!!!! Can't watch this before bedtime!!! Really a good story and Season one had me hooked immediately. Great show and a different spin on vampires.

I was slow to come around on The Strain because the story has been told in so many different ways already. However, The Strain is an amazing tv show, and I like it a lot more than The Walking Dead.

The action was much batter than last season, but this season was not like it. Lot of vampires, action even love... but not enough, it needed more explain to each characters. One good thing , it tried to change style to mix timeline, past and current for explain to this events.

I was a little unsure when I started this show with season 1 but after getting used to the concept of vampires with sucker things I have to say I am looking forward to see where the season goes!

Continuing the TV show inspired from the Guillermo del Toro novels, New York is under siege from a dark threat of vampires which spread across the city like an infection! This season shows the further fall of civilization in NY & the resistance of the people!

If you like good horror on a weekly basis then The Strain: The Complete Second Season is for you. The bonus features only add to the experience of viewing this terrific show.

this show is addicting. i love the new take on vampires and how people are handling it. season 2 was a no brainer to buy. its always better when bestbuy has dvd's on sale.

Sophomore follow ups are usually not as good as a great Freshman debut, but this pulled it off! Great continuation of the story, you really start to care for the characters!

If you like Vampires and are looking for a different take on the Vampire myths, The Strain is a great show; based off of trilogy of books, also that I would recommend.

This is by far one of the best shows on television!!! If you have not seen it U MUST but watch season 1 & 2 first.

This tv series is awesome! I am never disappointed when buying either a tv series or movie from Best Buy. The customer service always reaches my expectations!

As I said with my review of Season One, the second season got me hooked so I picked up both! If your looking for something new to watch I highly recommend it.

Love this show!! Full of action suspense and keeps you at the edge of your seat!!

This series doesn't get the credit it deserves, it's completely original in its story and has very good characters. I've enjoyed the first two seasons.
