Fascinating series, an exceptional presentation of an historical event blended with fantasy. The
attempt to find a northern passage through the Arctic is true: a giant demonic polar bear controlled
by Eskimo shaman is fabrication. Nonetheless great acting, especially by Gerard Harris, better than average CGI and realistic portrayal of the bleak frozen wastes are wonderful to behold. The Bluray
is way above average in terms of audio and video quality. Well worth purchasing.

This show is incredible and sent me down a deep rabbit hole of research that has not ended after a year and several large tomes. This show is fictional but has a lot of little historical references from the meticulously researched book. Also, there's nowhere to find it digitally so if you don't have an AMC Premiere account, this is the way to go. Great extras on the disc too-GO BUY IT!

The blu Ray was properly package as you’d expect but the show is some you’ve never prepared for. Dark and full of actor favorites from Game of Thrones Harry Potter, and Fringe! The clarity is amazing on my uhd tv!

Probably one of the most terrifying series I've ever seen. The series is about two ships that get lost while trying to find the Northwest Passage through the Arctic in the 1840's. While lost, the ships discover that not only is the environment of the Arctic trying to kill them, but that there is something else there that wants them to leave. I won't spoil anything beyond that other than to say that the acting is absolutely superb. As per the norm, Jared Harris and Tobias Menzies turn in amazing performances as well as several newcomers. In short, if you want an amazing series to terrify you with excellent performances, give the Terror a watch. You won't regret it.

I missed The Terror when it aired so I picked up the Blu-ray box set at Best Buy. What a riveting story. Two ships icebound in the Artic in the 1840s with limited supplies. The ten episodes went by like a freight train! The only minor problem is that some of the British accents got a bit thick at times --- but all of the lead actors enunciated their lines so the accents didn't impact on following the story. I would recommend The Terror. It truly gives the viewer a feeling of being cut off and isolated against great odds.

I'm a fan of several of the main actors, Tobias Menzies, Jared Harris, and Ciaran Hinds are fantastic, as usual. It's hard to define this show. The genre might be described as horror, historical drama, or a combination of the two. Maybe psychological historical fiction works best. This isn't about jump-scares; it's more like creeping dread and dawning horror. It's atmospheric and ambiguous, and may provoke thought. Not exactly light fare, but certainly addictive.
