Ok, so I love the original, i even liked the remake with biel and i have watched the regeneration film a few times but it took a good 4-5 viewings of this one before I started to get it. I don't know how to explain this film except it will either come or not?

This brilliant sequel swaps the original film's gritty realism for vivid, over-the-top horror comedy. Forget about the various other sequels and remakes (and sequels to remakes), all you need are the 1974 original and this 1986 follow-up. The version I purchased has limited-edition alternate cover art.

There are really only two Texas Chainsaw Massacre films worth owning and this is one of them.

I bought this for a family movie night and my children were scarred. I liked it though haha

Okay movie wasn’t as good as the classics but it will do.

One of the best campy horror films, if not the best from the 80's. This one is definitely over the top with special effects from horror effects maestro Tom Savini. This one is totally different from the first because of the comedic twist in it. Caroline Williams character Stretch deserves an academy award for the screaming and true fear she portrays in this film. A must see for all horror and chainsaw fans.In my opinion This entry and the original are the only good films of the franchise. And of course Tobe Hooper came back to direct this 1.

They took a less serious approach with the sequel to TCM. It's basically a horror comedy mixed in with insanity. Dennis Hopper performance alone is worth the admission price of the movie. He plays a sheriff who eventually loses his mind and grabs a pair of chainsaws and goes on a chainsaw cutting spree. They could have made the entire movie based on Dennis Hopper going crazy with a chainsaw and it will be worth seeing. Bill Moseley also gives a great performance as one of the family psychopaths. If you're a fan of the TCM series this is one of the better ones.

Making a sequel is a tough thing to do. Do you change the formula or make the sequel much in the same vein as the original? With TCM2, it's obvious that this film and the first are 2 completely different animals. Where TCM was a gritty horror film, TCM2 is a comedy-horror with bizarre characters. This does not make it bad, far from it because as it turns out, it's a great movie to watch! So long as you're not expecting the same type of film as the first. It's also never looked better than it does on this Scream Factory release!

It took never years to appreciate this movie. I never understand the direction Tobe hooper took making this compared to the original. I finally understand. He wanted to do something else and original. Every time I rewatch it I love it more and more. It’s funny, brutal, and a fun movie.

It's Texas chainsaw massacre 2 the best of the series. Put out by canon films a great film company from back in the 80's-90's. Great soundtrack and dialogue. The only thing I didn't like was the commentary with some unknown dude. I'd rather hear Toby hopper by himself sharing his thoughts and ideas then a guy asking questions.

This movie is indescribably insane in the best possible way. A fantastic follow-up, in part because they intentionally switched the tone and ramped everything up to 11-and-a-half. Add a blast of extras, old and new, and you've got one of the greatest horror reissues of the year!

Bill Mosley is a special kind of weird. Not a spiritual successor but a pretty good comedic take on the horror genre. Great disc great packaging. Scream factory is very good at horror collectors editions

This is a seriously demented sequel which is dripping with Gore. The Sawyer family returns with Dennis Hopper as the Matriarch. Not as good as the original but easily the best of all the sequels

Another great classic on bluray! I picked this up for less than $10 dollars and I'm happy with my purchase love adding these classic movies to my collection. Rev up that chainsaw and pick this one up!!

Lots of people, even TCM fans, hate this movie. I don't care. Love it! Bluray itself is nothing special, but for the price, I didnt expect it to be... that it works and has no problems is good enough for me.

A very thorough set of special features alongside two different scans of the Tobe Hooper comedic-skewed sequel is definitely a must-get for any serious fans of the movie!

This is a weird movie. If you're a fan, the special features do a great job chronicling the creation of this horror comedy and why Hooper shaped the wackiness in the film.

This sequel continues the unimaginable tale of a cannabalistic family in the wilds of modern Texas. Drive around or drive elsewhere but don’t stop here.
