This is going to be a classic vampire/werewolf movie.

I purchased this movie to complete the Twilight collection. Got it for a great price. Movie had no scratches and looked very clear. Story itself was average.

I got this luckily on sale for just $6. Will be going back to buy more

I could skip this movie and go straight to the next one in the series

For a vampire movie it honestly isn't that great in my opinion.

She likes this stuff for some reason. We bought it on black Friday

New moon is fantastic and is so much better than Twilight (though I do love Twilight) the effects are amazing and the acting has improved a great deal.The only downside is that I missed seeing the Cullen family in this one and though that cant be helped as thats the way the book was written.The Twi-saga is like marmite..you either love it or hate it. And I love it...for the Vampires and the romance and the good-looking guys. ;) New Moon is a great movie and well worth buying. Bring on Eclipse in June!!! The Blu-ray presentation is whats key in this review... The image qaulity, sound and extras are all top notch and are perfect examples of the format and why it is better than DVD... If you have the option buy the movie on Blu-ray and you won't be dissapointed...as for the film it really does depend on your tatse...

I am not what you would call a die hard Twilight Fan, but this film was definately worth seeing. The acting was pretty great...I'm not into drama so much, but they definitely have the right people in the parts. The special effects are amazing!! I thought that it would be hard to pull off the Wolves...and they did it; not only pulling it off, they made it look easy. My hats off to the special effects crew. The only scene I thought wasn't done the way I thought they would was the scene where Bella and Edward are reunited. Thought it was a bit rushed, but that is really the only complaint. I saw a ton of guys in the theater and they all seemed to enjoy it right along with the ladies...so I have to say this is a good movie for the guys to enjoy with the ladies.

Went to see the movie at theatre and missed several parts due to young whiny nephews. I was excited to purchase the DVD. I actually thought this director stayed closer to the book. I noticed when things were edited out from the book version, the director found a way to bring it back in, in another way - maybe through another character, but you didn't feel like you were missing something the way you did with Twilight. The special features weren't as great with this DVD though. I would've loved to see more ouittakes - bloopers - - discussions by the characters, etc.

I'm enjoying the Twilight series. I prefered Twilight over New Moon because it had more action and this one was slow to start. But if you like love stories, you'll LOVE this one. The characters interact together excellently. I can't picture Bella ending up with the wolf rather than the vampire. The vampire is great looking and the wolf is not. But we'll see in the next installment. I highly recommend this movie, New Moon.

my favorite actress returns for another installment in the twilight saga this movie is great just great and kristin stewart is maturing as a actress as she keeps on making more and more films rob is also maturing i first saw rob pattinson in harry potter and the goblet of fire i loved this movie i own all the books but i have yet to read as i am currently rereading harry potter 1 2 3 4 5 6 this movie is amazing the best of the best in my opinon the twilight saga blows the underworld trilogy outta the water thats my opionon

I love Twilight the second movie way better then the first one. I actually hate Bella with Edward and Jacob for that matter. She is no good for either Edward or Jacob. I am not a big fan of the books. I hate the books more then the MOvies. I would Say everyone is a big Twilight Fan Buy the movies there great to watch and you all will enjoy them to, I love Edward and Jacob there both are pretty hot. You all go buy the movie you"ll Love it and can't get enough for it. I can't wait to see the last 2 of the Twilight Movies. I just Pre-Order the second one at Best Buy.

I love the twilight movies. I like the New Moon movie better than the first. I don't have time to usually read books so I prefer to look at movies instead. Even though I didn't "read" the twilight books I did read the synopsis for each book and I'm not looking forward to the end of the story. At least when you have a movie that's not based on a book you can work with the storyline a bit as each movie is made. That's not the case here. If you already know what the ending will be and you don't like the ending what's the purpose of buying the movies that follow?

This movie was not as good as the first. With that being said the movie was still a great film. At parts the movie seemed rushed and jumpy. If you read the books you will find that this film leaves alot of details and events out. It also doesnt follow the book completely since Edward was barely in the New Moon book (that wouldn't go over well in the movie). There was pletty of action in the movie for the guys to enjoy and plenty of romance and shirtless Jacob for the ladies to enjoy. This is a definite must have piece for any twilight fan!

Was sorely disappointed to have pre-ordered the Blu-Ray, only to find out there was a special Tin enclosed version. But neither the Blu-Ray or the DVD sold at Best Buy came with any deleted scenes or extended scenes or extra stuff. Not cool! Shame on the Studio & other retailers for not offering the deleted & extended scenes on EVERY movie sold. I shouldn't have to buy 3 different copies of the same move just to get extra stuff on it..

New Moon has some really good scenes and verbiage. Some of my favorite "love" quotes come from this movie. The 1st time I watch this movie I did not appreciate it. But when I watched it again, I started to love it. I have seen it many times since... This may be my second favorite movie from the series #it's a closeup with Breaking Dawn part 2.#
