    Best Album to Date!

This is Hanson's greatest record to date. After the professional turmoil of going independent, the brothers have gotten their groove back, and truly deliver to their fans. Clearly influenced by their trip to South Africa, tracks like "Blue Sky" and "Great Divide" feature a children's choir from Soweto, South Africa that add soul to Hanson's already passionate music. This album features the most switching on lead vocals to date, and finally gives us a number of songs by the youngest of the three, Zac, whose voice has been drastically underused in previous albums. His voice on "Go" and "Fire On the Mountain" are absolutely breathtaking. Beyond that, this album has everything you could want in it. Songs like "The Walk" will move you, "Been There Before" will remind you of the old days, and "Tearing it Down" will make you want to break it down and dance. It's got a little something for everyone, and it's definitely, definitely worth buying.

Run out and buy The Walk!

My initial attempt to write this review resulted in several sugar-coated paragraphs of rambling, so I decided to cut it short. As much as I'd like to describe the greatness of every detail of every song, there's just nothing to substitute actually listening to the album for yourself. So I leave you with what started as my introduction: This album is a balance of everything a hit album should have. The songs are catchy, but it's not a sound you'll be trying to force out of your head. There are smooth, melodic ballads (such as "Go" and "Georgia") that will leave you wanting a hug and a piano lesson or two, as well as funky upbeat songs like "Tearing it Down" and "Running Man" that will have you absentmindedly drumming on your steering wheel. The lyrics run just as deep as the guys' understanding of how to put together a great album, and both are much deeper than the average mainstream puddle.

This is by far one of the best CD's I have ever heard in my life. Forget every negative conotation you have of Hanson. HANSON truly does it all. They write their own songs, play their own instruments.. and they even have their own record label to be able to have full control over what they put on their album. Their voices are amazing and their lyrics are also. BUY THIS ALBUM! You wont regret it. It's seriously a CD that you can listen to the whole way through and love ever single song. I LOVE THIS CD.

Hanson does not disappoint. This time Hanson really delivers. The songs are melodic without sounding sugar-coated. I love everything from the vocals to the lyrics to the instrumentals. I highly recommend this album to anyone.
