Played this game a couple of times but I couldn't get into it..just wasn't what I expected

great game for a adult that watches the show!!! it is wonderfulll!

I have to say, I read a lot of reviews on this game and looked up videos on youtube, and this was exactly what I should have expected (but deep down didn't want to believe). A lot of people said that if you enjoy the show, you'll enjoy the game so at $18, I thought I'd give it a try. I couldn't have been more wrong. I came into this game with LOW expectations; I mean low. I knew the graphics were bad. I knew the gameplay wouldn't be great. But not until I played the game myself am I now realizing how truly terrible this game is. The graphics are that of the Nintendo Gamecube. The story is something a 3rd grader would write where his older brother came through later and added lots of gore into it. The game plays like Doom (which was created more than 20 years ago). I'm very disappointed to have spent $18 on this game and I seriously pity anyone who spent more. I will say one very positive thing about this game. The opening scene/mission stays very true to the typical start to a real Walking Dead TV episode. Something shocking happens, and then the opening credits roll with the intro music. I got kind of excited after that happened and felt very nostalgic. Maybe that raised the bar too high for me...

This game has not lived up to the name of the television show. In this game you play as Daryl Dixon which is pretty awesome. However once you have seen the same zombie die the same way 30 times it does seem a bit tedious. Activision could have really stepped it up as far as designing different unique zombies for the different environments. The game play is somewhat laggy and you will find yourself against walls more then not while you are running away from a horde of the undead. This is NOT a game for a beginner, I have been playing games since I was about 5 year old I am 21 and am still having alot of difficulty getting from level to level. Activision has really dropped the ball on this game. I admit it is still a fun game to play just because it is so challenging and personally I love any game where I can kill a zombie. Others may say that its the worst game they've ever played.

I bought this game for my nephew who is obsessed with the walking dead. he says he loves it although its hard to get to the next level. hes 13.

I got this game as a gift since I love The Walking Dead. When I first played I thought something was wrong with my PS3 because the game was a bit laggy and graphics looked like it came from a PS2 game. Turns out the game just has bad graphics. The game itself was pretty short, each mission would take less than five minutes to complete unless you actually went around looking for items to pick up. There's not too much you can decide or change the outcome of the story. The gameplay is relatively simple, complete objectives, kill zombies, runaway at the end of missions. There were some parts in the game that did get my heart racing. The background of the Dixon brothers was definitely interesting. I would recommend this to any fans of The Walking Dead who love the Dixon brothers.

The guns in the game are pointless unless you have already stabbed 15 or more zombies in the head through stealth as they draw more zombies than you can kill every time. The whole rotate the right thumbstick when a zombie has a hold of you thing doesn't work half the time causing you to die repeatedly until you turn the sensitivity down all of the way,even then often not working. Horrifically bad gameplay,no online gameplay,no DLC,Activision title....That really says enough doesn't it?

I can't believe activision would put out such garbage. Don't waste your money or time playing this game. I've seen better graphics on the ps2 and the story isn't the best either. Very sad considering the show is so good.

My son & nephew are absolute total fans of the tv series so I preordered this for them! They had great hopes for this game, but they were soooooo disappointed! I even preordered 2 of them to get exclusive stuff, when I went to pick up the kid at the gaming desk couldn't open the cabinet with the preorders and just gave me 2 off the shelf saying he's sure there were no extras for the pre-order but if there was they'd be on there! Sooooo disappointed that the ball was dropped here!

I've been a big fan of the show and I was excited about the game coming out. I pre-ordered and received the game this week and have only played a couple of levels but have been very disappointed. Gameplay so far has been very "scripted" without a lot options but to follow the pre-defined path. Graphics are just ok and fights with the walkers are routine and unexciting. The only challenging thing so far has been facing large groups that attack at once...like when you draw their attention with noise, etc....then at that point there is little hope....similar to the show but not very exciting for a game. Hoping it gets better as the story progresses but I'll have to make myself go play again to find out vs. having a game I can't put down.

Decent game, but nothing special. Call of Duty is much better. Get the Zombie add on and play that instead.

I am very disappointed with this game. Should have been much better. How many times can you push R2 before the game becomes boring. If you want to find out buy this game.

i'm haven't finished the game yet,but I do like the game overall. It makes you think before you decide to move out in the open of a street or building.
