Began watching this series on Netflix over the summer. I am NOT a zombie fan and had absolutely ZERO interest in this series. During the summer my yearly motorcycle trip takes me through Georgia and a friend routed us to where they film TWD. While knowing absolutely nothing about the series I visited the film sites, went to the TWD store and cafe and walked into Norman's bar. (When I discovered Norman Reedus starred in this show I figured I'd watch an episode as I am a huge fan of Boondock Saints.) WOW!!!! I am so addicted to this series! I binge-watched seasons 1 - 5 and was sooooo disappointed when I realized Season 6 had already aired on AMC. The very day Season 6 was released on DVD...I was holding a copy in my hand!!! Now....I wait patiently (hardly!) for season 7 on AMC. This DVD set has a few extras that were neat to view. I never knew some of the actors were British!

Such a great show...could never say enough good about it

Will watch it again. Like the action and the characters.

What Can I say, I am a fan of the walking dead series.

In my opinion, this is the last good season of the walking dead. It had some real high points, but hampered by too many fake outs to truly be great.

This season of The Walking Dead continues its established trend of delivering everything fans of the genre would wish for and more! While I was disappointed that a commemorative edition of this season was not offered like had been the case in all previous seasons, there are a multitude of ways for fans to get TWD merchandise, so that is less of an issue than I had anticipated. I am delighted that the blue ray version came with a digital copy so that I can easily access my content while traveling through my UV library on nearly any device. I highly recommend this franchise and this season of TWD to all zombie fans (although I suspect most already are watching just like me!).

Any season of The Walking Dead is worth the price, and season 6 is no exception. From the attempt to lure the pit of walkers until the end of the season, it was a never-ending thrill ride while still continuing character development, For those that watch the season on TV, the viewer knows the anxiety of how the producers choose the stopping points of the mid-season as well as the season finale. Luckily, the viewer can binge watch the dvd or blu-ray version of the season. As always, I enjoy the extras (commentary, alternate Neegan scene, etc.) I highly recommend purchasing any season of The Walking Dead for the true fan; the extras alone are worth it,

I've followed a small handful of modern TV shows & often find they run too long for their own good. I've enjoyed TWD since the beginning & started to get that fear around season 4. It had already reached immense popularity and that can often be the death knell for something of quality. However, the production team seems utterly unwilling to allow that to happen, as they've come back with another dark, emotionally rich & very fun season. The ending is one of the darkest cliffhangers I feel like I've seen anywhere in many years. Hails to writers, directors, actors, FX people, producers & everyone else who bring these characters to life for us!

The sixth season on the Walking Dead keeps on moving providing the usual thrills and chills we've come to expect. Though it deviates from the source material here and there the basic storylines remain true. Most of the episodes are great a few no so but the standout episode features Carol and Maggie as not so helpless captives. The finale will leave you hanging by the fingernails but true fans already know that. Enjoy

This one seems to be a bit slower than that last season. Does keep the story line intact.

Hands down negan makes this show as the villain and the story is finally picking back up

This season continues to deliver great action for fans of the show.

I'm a fan of the show so purchasing the 6th season on DVD was a no brainer. (Of course, I do have a brain.) It is a realistic take on how people might react to a catastrophe, how they might deal with staying safe, caring for each other and putting up with the bad guys that would crawl out of the woodwork in this type of world. The excellent writing, thought-provoking situations, character development and relationships draw me to the show.

What can I say about TWD. We'll Ive been Totally hooked since I seen Rick, Get trapped in the Tank. It has its Ups & Down Episodes. & It's Really Sad lossing Great Characters on the Show. That over time you fell in love with. Buts thats Life. & It is during a Apocalypse. I love the Show. I have all the Seasons but 7 & 8. & I will always be a Loyal Fan of TWD..... & OHHHH YA. I RECOMMENDED THIS WHOLE SERIES...

because of a long hospital stay with my husband after his surgery I missed the whole season 6 of my favorite program, "The Walking Dead" I had a hard time finding the plain DVD, as our TV viewing is a little out dated, but the wonderful young lady at Best Buy found it for me and even price matched another store to get me the best price available. Thank you Best Buy, this is why I keep coming back

Season 6 of "The walking Dead" is an explosive and wild ride. Almost every episode in this season helps to build the story to what is one of the most heart stopping finales. Great characters, and story arcs in this well written, and acted series. Greatest make up I have ever seen on the small screen or big screen. Greg Nicotero is the best at his craft. This is a "must have" for anyone's tv collection!

My child and I love The Walking Dead series. We own all of the season, except Season 7 because it is not out yet. This is a real intense show. You have to be prepared to anything to come your way when watching this tv show. It takes to many different elements of life without electricity and the basics we use to get by in life. Its all about survival and who is the strongest will lead the back.

Another quality release of the Walking Dead by Anchor Bay with cool lenticular slipcover. Image quality is superb. Yes there is some grain but that is normal for a show shot on Super 16 film. Extras disc offers an "uncensored" version of episode 16 but honestly the added swearing (all in one scene) doesn't fit the rest of the series. I'll stick with the regular TV edit from now on.

If you are looking at this review, you know what you're getting; one of the best seasons of a great show, ending with the introduction of one of the greater villains in modern fiction: Negan. (And for those who haven't read the books, the intro was the same but the lead up to his appearance was even better!) And I can't wait for what is destined to be the best season yet.

Walking Dead 6 was great drama and acting on an intense subject. The return of the dead to walk the earth and to snack on the living. It continues the mind bending series of Robert Kirkland and of course ends in a cliff hanger for season 7. The best of this genre ever made as makes you think about human relationships in a crisis situation i.e. our current world.
