I would say that this movie is breathtaking and its music score is nice as well. Check it out if you have a chance, Its colorful and relaxing.

What else can I say, Studio Ghibli is among the best on the planet. Great family movie, even my teenagers and 21 yr old still love these films.

A great story line, once again hiayo Miyazaki did it! Wonderful picture, great story line. Something the family will enjoy. Pick up all this films.

Miyazaki does it once again. Beautiful de-glorification of war and hidden political agendas. Told as a great lesson for past and future generations.

Been a huge of Studio Ghobli and Miyazaki since we watched Spirited Away. Instantly when out to get all that we could. Each one of his films was amazing and got better with each viewing. This one did not grab me the same way. We found ourselves asking questions through out which kept us from fully diving into the fantasy we have come to expect from his films. As a fan I am glad we have it and will keep it, however I do not find myself looking forward to watching this one multiple times. If you want to get into the Studio Ghibli works of Miyazaki and have not seen anything yet, I do not recommend this one as your first choice. Watch Spirited Away and then move on to the others.

The film works on many levels but more than anything else it is about man taking stock of a long career spent attempting to capture magic.

This film delivered with the same quality storytelling, animation, and heart as all other Ghibli flims. I couldn't be more happy!

It's a beautifully animated film. Thought its message sometimes gets muddled in technicalities it rises above the shortcomings.
