A real tear jerker

This is story about a Naval hero who actually existed.
"Spig" as he was know to his friends, saved what was left of our Navy flat tops by creating the smaller ships to carry the extra plans needed for air support in the Pacific front.

John Wayne does a good job in this movie he is one of my favorite actors.
