My son picked this game out for his birthday this year

Good game. Never had it on Wii U but I am glad to have it now.

Great action based gameplay with excellent graphics. Unique game.

This game is a lot of fun, it's like playing through a Saturday morning cartoon. Bright, likable characters (if a bit too many) while intended to have unique powers they kind of run together but the individual designs are great. Good music and a basic plot that's fun to play. Overall 7/10

Never played the original, but this was kinda fun!

Fun - if confusing at first - beat'em/shoot'em up. There is still a good amount of strategy here. And a definite learning curve to master all the attack modes. May have to search for a guide online Haven't played much yet, but it's definitely a good time killer and fun in handheld mode.

I never had the chance to play this game on the Wii U, but it was clearly made with the dual screens of the Wii U in mind. Still a nice chance to play the game if you missed it on Wii U.

I feel into the hype of this games rerelease on Switch and overall, I am disappointed. While not terrible, the controls take a while to get used to, but I never felt natural. I feel the move from the Wii U touch screen to Switch's standard controls lost some of the original functionality. The animation is great and is you are a fan of Platinum Games, get it. If you aren't, I'd suggest looking at another game before dipping your toes into this one.

Glad that platinum games is branching out and starting their own production of games. This makes me hopeful for scalebound to come back to them someday.

Loved this game concept back on the Wii U. I never got play it fully. So now I get a 2nd chance on the Nintendo Switch.

This game is quite unique. I enjoy exploring the small mission stages for hidden items and bonuses. Never been a fan of grading systems at the end of fights and missions. Having to draw your attack weapon is kind of annoying after a short time, and choosing your leader should pause the game but it doesnt. The graphics are pretty subpar by todays standards. There are comedic and light hearted moments sprinkled throughout to keep you smiling.

This is a fun game, originally a port from the Wii U. The upgraded visuals and gameplay mechanics make it a great purchase on the Switch
