Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the engaging gameplay loop, compelling storyline, and amazing music in "The World Ends with You: Final Remix." Many appreciate the addition of bonus content and the option to play using the touch screen, although some find the control scheme challenging, particularly when using the Joy-Cons. A few customers expressed concerns about the game's price point. The quality of the port was also a subject of mixed opinions.

I missed out when the game first came out on the DS years ago. Trying to find it after was quite a bit of work since every store that I went to were sold out. The game is heavy store based and exciting. The controls are the shocker since I never played the original the entire game is used playing with the touch screen of the Switch. It's not a bad thing. It just takes some time to get use to it. Overall from that it is really a fun game. The only Con I have with the game that some of the spell attacks uses the same swiping motion as dashing during combat, so when you want to get out the way or attack you'll get the opposite of what you want.

This game is good but could have been better if they didn’t be lazy and ported over the cell phone version because in tv mode you use only a single joycon as a mouse on your tv screen, but portable mode is where it shines but like I said before it’s because it was a lazy port from a cell phone version but all in all still a fun game but only in portable mode

This is still one of my favorite games, but the controls in docked mode aren't as easy to use as the touch screen controls. Play in handheld mode, and the game is still as great as it ever was, but now it's prettier and has 3 times as much music.

This game is cool. I've only played the first 2 chapters, but feel engrossed with the rhythm like gameplay system. The soundtrack is by far one of my favorite things about this game. If you like fast paced action, this game is for you.

I personally prefer the DS original the most, but the added stuff here and new way to play still makes this game worth your time. Wish it was a bit cheaper though.

This game has some amazing music. The beats just keep you playing and keeps you excited about the game. The battle system seems a little confusing at first but once you get the hang of it then it just becomes a piece of cake.

The game has a fantastic story and a awesome soundtrack but I would not suggest playing on your tv. It’s a much better handheld.

This is technically considered to be the HD remake of the game. Pros: HD Cool cut scenes New controls Cons: New controls I say this meaning there are different ways to play, but you cant really play exactly like in the original. Its hard to describe the control schemes here and im sorry if thats not useful. It does, however, allow for a sort of multi player co op experience. I dont find it amazing, but it could be an easy way for you and an SO or sibling to plow through the game together.

I have yet to get to the new story content, but the main story is so good and the handheld gameplay is a lot of fun. The motion controls when docked take getting used to, though.

The controls are awful. I want to like this game but there’s no comfortable and accurate way to play it. It’s a shame because this game could be awesome but the controls bog it down. Look up reviews for the controls and they are a hundred percent right. I say find a way to rent it or try it to see if the controls are the deal breaker for you that they were for me.

When this game first came out on the DS, I was enamored by the architecture of Shibuya and the colorful characters, each with their own set of controls in battle. Rich with story, it never got the recognition I felt it deserved. When it finally received a port for the Switch, I was elated. Now, the mechanics aren't exactly the same, but without the DS's two screens, there's no way they could have translated it exactly. I never played the iOS port, so I can't say how this differs from that one, but I can definitely call this a true gem that belongs in any player's collection.

I wish i could give this a 3.5 because i really am not a fan of the controls, but i love having it in my collection, it's so aesthetically wonderful and has awesome music it feels so good to own for me, just don't know how much i'll actually be playing it and if i ever finish it it'll take a while cause you'll need a lot of breaks playing it so you don't hurt your arm/wrist/fingers

love everything about the game. Been a fan since the original ds version. Music, graphics, and story is great. Just wish they made better use of the controls. Motion controls work but not perfect. Playing it while using the touch screen of your switch is the best way to play.
