Efficient use of space

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like the Thermador ensemble I got - 42 inches but much larger capacity in the same 42 inch space than the built in we replaced. Door shelf and interior shelves are very efficient with use of space. Had good experience with BB even if the wait was long. Contract installers were OK. Not perfect, but reasonably good probvlem solvers.

But the basic function of a fridge is to keep food cold enough to not spoil quickly. Just over 3yrs of owning this incredibly expensive fridge and it isnt doing that. I have a $700 fridge (plus freezer) from 10yrs ago that works just fine, but not the 10x more expensive Thermador. It costs almost as much to have a technician just look at this fridge as it does to buy a fridge that works for a decade without issue. Customer service thru Thermador is helpful, but Im sure paying for it. Also, even when the fridge works it's poorly laid out for a family who cooks meals at home, so its hard to fit things in. I wouldnt buy this again.

Worst product and customer service

I have called customer service multiple times. 2 year later the issue is still not resolved. over 10 appointments made, 5 of them were cancelled on the day of the appointment. appointments can be made 3 weeks in advance 1st service request: June 2022 - Fridge door hinge was making a noise October 2022: Part requested March 2023: Part replaced - Part was faulty Sep 2023 Part ordered Dec 2023: appointment canceled Early Jan 2024: Appointment cancelled Late Jan 2024: Part replaced. Another part is faulty now, the installation is not correct or complete. The door doesn't close and when forced to close it pushes the freezer to open. Late Feb 2024 : Appointment cancelled March 2024: Still the issue is on going after almost 2 years. I have called Thermador multiple times, they refused to give me anything in writing, The worst customer services
