8 months so far and we love it my husband still misses gas but he says better than he thought and I love cooking on it safer easier to clean my teen son likes to cook and loves it. If your pans are warped from burning on gas stove you will need new flat pans for even cooking. The most loved feature is rapid boil and instant cook down amazing how quickly you can adjust temperature
