Very poor quality microwave, terrible interface

I am not even holding Thermador to a high standard. A $150 microwave can do a better job than this one. I had a sharp microwave before for 1/5th of the price and it worked so much better. This microwave doesn't heat evenly, is noticeably slower (e.g. popcorn takes > 4 min and burns more compared to my sharp microwave which did it in under 3 min without burning) and is difficult to clean. The interface sucks!!! Every operation on the microwave requires multiple button presses. I must always first press the "power" button which makes a loud and annoying thermador jingle noise (There is no way to turn it off), then I must press the power button again for it to show me microwave options, then a couple of more clicks on the lcd for the microwave to run.

Looks good, functions well, hard to operate

Long wait time and no immediate available technician, most of the time you have to wait at least a month to get the appliance repaired. There's a reason they are giving a free dishwasher when you buy 2 Thermador appliances because they are just unreliable and bad. I would never buy Thermador again in my life and everyone should be aware. Don't waste your money on this brand

Long time awaited

So far both the microwave and oven operate quietly and easy to navigate. Only thing the clock on the microwave resets after periods of no use.
