Beware, No Usable Oven Timers!

We purchased this Thermador MED301WS/02 oven in mid-September. It arrived in mid-October and was installed on October 20th, 2020. We previously owned a Thermador oven (SEC301BS) and were so happy with it that we were very anxious to have our new Thermador oven installed. The overall oven is wonderful and the touch features and Home Connect is very nice. However, the volume on the kitchen and oven timers is terrible. We have our volume set at 5 which is the highest setting and it is inaudible. I can be a few feet away from our oven and when the time goes off and it cannot be heard. I was sure there was something wrong, since the timer volume on our last Thermador was great. So, I called the Thermador Customer Service number in the manual and talked with the rep. She set us up for a service appointment with BSH Home Appliance. The service representative came out and checked to make sure we had everything set correctly (which we did) and he confirmed that the volume we were hearing was the loudest it would go. He also confirmed that there is no fix or repair to correct this issue at this time – so this is the best it can be!! This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! We paid almost $5000 for this new Thermador oven and the speaker for the timer is so bad that you can’t even hear it when the oven is preheated and ready to go or the food that you are cooking is done!! The timer feature is essentially useless!! It is clear that someone in Quality Control did not do their job on this new oven design!! It is so sad that we paid all this money for an oven and we need to go out and buy an external timer so we know when our food that we are cooking is done!! Unheard of!!! I am sure I am not the first to complain about this issue and I definitely will not be the last. Thermador is known for quality, reliability, innovativeness and efficiency in the kitchen. I love to cook and bake and use my oven quite extensively – and really need this feature fixed. We are hoping that Thermador is able to address this issue and provide us a fix at some point in the future. If and when they do, I will gladly update the review.
