Poor quality and bad experience all around

New oven didn't work even once. It preheats to set temperature and fails with error code E6100. Calls to customer service have holds in excess of 45 minutes. We opened a ticket online and the service tech showed up today empty handed (no parts) though he was aware of the problem. There wasn't an iota of concern for the customer's dysfunctional kitchen. He scheduled yet another appointment after 2 weeks to come replace the fan.
We bought Thermador appliance set for our new kitchen based on looks as functional units aren't available in stores - what a mistake! Microwave was dead on arrival and we had to wait for 2 more months to get a replacement, so missed the return window. We would have gladly returned this whole Thermador mess. I wrote a detailed review for the microwave. It is a disaster in disguise, takes 5 clicks to run it for just 30 seconds. Customer service spent 40 minutes on the phone reading the operational instructions to determine that it is working as designed but failed to understand that it was designed poorly to begin with. They wouldn't take a request to communicate the customer challenge to their product team. The dishwasher works but doesn't dry dishes even in the highest heat setting. We are using a towel to blot the cups before picking up. Their stove is the only appliance worth buying.
Hope you do your research and try the appliance somewhere before making the big decision. We can't recommend Thermador to anyone, for the poor quality experienced all around. This expensive mistake took the joy out of finishing our new kitchen.

Design Flaw

Jury is still out. Looks like a major design flaw. After first use the glass oven door became cloudy.
It appears the double pane glass is open at the bottom which allows dirt/dust/flour to get between the layers. No way to clean it. This is totally unacceptable for a “high end” very expensive product.
Have called Thermador (Best Buy customer service was lacking to say the least) and they are supposedly sending someone to investigate.

It's a really nice looking oven with great features. The fast preheat feature is great and even better when linked with the app. This takes baking to a new level for me when the oven pings my phone to let me know the preheat is done or pings me to tell me that the cooking is done. I haven't had an issue with the glass clouding up like a previous review. I've used it pretty much almost every day since it's the only appliance that's been delivered because of supply chain issues. I'm looking forward to getting my Thermador range soon, if the delivery estimation is accurate.

Display on front microwave goes off after 40 minutes and light goes off it’s triple never recommended Thermador microwave
