Connections issues

Inaccurate and can't calibrate

Using it for the first time on Thanksgiving double checked after this said it was done yet the indicator had not popped. Discovered the temperature the meat was reading over 20 degrees higher than it actually was. Since there is no way for user calibration to correct the huge discrepancy that makes the entire device worthless.

Worked once

Does not stay connected.

A few concerns

It also doesn’t work well when we close the smoker lid fully, it blocks the signal which is the point of having this thermometer.

It worked greak for the first week but just stopped pairing. I can see 1 doing this but both. Thos os horrible. Stay away from it.

My New Favorite Thermometer

The convenience of pairing with my phone is wonderful. I especially like the range for reception. Plus being able to monitor both meat and ambient temperatures is a plus. T

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a TP930 wired, and Purchased this wireless temp probe a few months ago. It Worked ok. The probe wasn't very accurate, and broke within a few months. The probe stopped syncing with the base. Reached out to customer service, and they were no help either, and basically in a position of just buy a new one. Ill stick to my wired probes, as they seem to be more reliable, but just as inaccurate. Stick to the more expensive models i think, as they MIGHT be better. I definitely don't trust anythings temp accuracy at this point. Wired with bluetooth is where I will stay though.
