Excellent 3d movie, not a fan of 3d in the theater but enjoying it on my home projector. not much coming off the screen, which I prefer anyway as too often it breaks the suspension of disbelief, great images for 3d display.

It was a fun action packed movie beginning to end. With an unexpected twist at the last minute. And it has the added benefit of having a hunky main character. Yummy.

Not a bad flick. Some good character development. By far, the most interesting character is Loki, helped by a very convincing performance by t. Hiddleston. Natalie Portman's character is so uninteresting as to hurt the overall feel of the movie though. If you want an enjoyable action flick B level movie, this is good one.

When Kenneth Branagh did not return for the sequel, I was kind of disappointed but liked what Alan Taylor brought to Thor. Branagh brought that magesty to the realm of asguard while Taylor brought that action. One neg, it's more a Disney thing the combo pack doesn't have the DVD, and the DVD doesn't have a digital copy

People generally say this isn't a good movie because it doesn't really fit into the rest of MCU, there is no real strong connection to the overall story line. I think this is largely true but I still think it a is a good entertaining movie. Ya, it's not that important to the MCU but it is still a fun watch.

I actually didn't like this movie when I saw it in the theater, but after watching it a couple of times on cable TV it has grown on me. This movie is actually a very important piece of the MCU phase 2 collection. There should've been a mention of Thanos in the movie since it takes place in the cosmos.

All your favorites are back lots of ACTION, in a really interesting story. Captures your attention from the start. No slow spots so stock up on snacks. There's humor and a little romance. Lots of action watch your favorite god kick butt with grace, speed& style.

This is a sequel that works even better than the first. Great action, story and acting from everyone. Portman doesn't seem to work as a character in Sci Fi flicks, like SW Ep I,II,III. However the movie works overall. Another great flick in the Marvel Universe.

Having missed the movie in the theaters, I had been looking forward to its arrival for home purchase. As such, I was very pleased with what the product provided in terms of production values, and extras. I look forward to making similar purchases in the future.

What can i say, Thor is awesome, the cast is awesome, and the story is action packed and funny. However, this movie is fine but the new idea of Thor being a women in the coming features sounds dumb. There are plenty of fem fetals out there to use or make.

Typically, sequels are a let down, but that was not the case with this movie. The plot was well thought out and didn't just rehash the first movie. Also, make sure you keep watching until the credits are through because there is another scene after the credits.

For a comic book fan, this is a dream come true, to see the Mighty Thor on the big screen. This is the dream and imagination from the comics coming to life. The story doesn't exactly follow the comic lore, but who cares... my comic books character are in IMAX.

Much better than the first Thor movie The Dark World is fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. It ties in very well within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The HD transfer and sound on the Blu-Ray are excellent. Extras are fun and interesting.

Thor: The Dark World is one of the best movies to date from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Another great performance from Loki (Tom Hiddleston). The acting overall in the movie is good, not excellent. Other than that the movie is fun to watch and entertaining.

I definitely enjoyed this much more than the first movie. I know in the first they had to waste time setting up characters and such, so I'll let that slide. In this they were able to really delve into some new material and continue to grow the Marvel Movieverse, which I enjoy alot. Loki as usual is a scene stealer!

This movie takes the story onto a new path via a recollection of Odin's. It has both sad and terrifically comical elements to keep you guessing. Loki shines as his tricky, naughty self. Pay close attention - some very clever things will pass you by, otherwise.

If you liked the first Thor movie and are into the Marvel's Avengers, then you'll definitely want to get this. Don't get me wrong, the first Thor movie is really good, but Thor: The Dark World is better IMO and glad I now have it as part of my collection!!! :)

I purchased movie as I saw the first one and liked the first movie, but did not love it. This movie turned things around. This movie was a complete 180 from first one. It had better plot and a lot more action which would only make sense for this type of movie.

if you liked the first Thor movie, give this one a try. it is an entertaining follow-up to the original. A funny and likable script with fantastic visual effects and strong performances from the cast. Chris Hemsworth is perfect as Thor and Tom Hiddleston is superb as Loki. give this one a chance - it's a fun time.

I love the Thor films. This is one of the better ones. All are wonderful. Each has their own vibe. The steelbook is a great quality piece too. Wonderful transfer, picture, and sound.
