First thing- if you are on a Playstation and the LED above the PS button is anything but blue, press and hold the mode button for 5 seconds until the LED begins to flash, then while still holding the mode button press and release the right directional button until the LED cycles to blue. You can use the same procedure to switch it to green if you’re on a PC. Once that’s done your console will recognize the wheel and you’re off to the races! My first impression of the T128 is that it’s on the small side, both the wheel and the pedals. I’m not sure that’s a bad thing, I like using it better than a controller and it doesn’t take up much space. The smaller size of the wheel keeps most all of the buttons in reach of your thumbs. That said, I tried it on Project Cars, Assetto Corsa, Dakar 18, NFS, Mudrunner, and Dirt 4 and 5. The wheel works great on everything I tried except the two Dirt games. They are listed as being compatible but in just those two games the wheel would lock up and refuse to turn anywhere left of center. I contacted Thrustmaster’s support and so far we’re not able to get it working. The wheel works fine on every other game so I think it’s a game issue with Dirt not a problem with the wheel. I found the wheel to be responsive and maybe even a little too powerful on the force feedback, I had to adjust the FFB strength down quite a bit to suit my preferences. The pedal are quite smooth and while I would like a firmer brake pedal, the throttle tension is spot on for me. I like that the pedals use magnetic sensors instead of potentiometers so they should retain accuracy over time. I also like that they included two holes in the pedal base for mounting, I attach my pedals to a piece of 3/4” plywood, then attach a 2x6 vertically and another piece of 3/4” ply on top to clamp the steering wheel. I size it to fit me while seated so everything is a comfortable reach. I like having the pedals attached so they don’t slide away at an inopportune time. The clamp on the wheel feels sturdy and keeps the wheel in place with no problem. I miss not having a clutch pedal but since there’s no stick shift lever either it’s not an issue. The included butterfly shifter changes gears smoothly so you can rip through a sequential gearbox with ease. This wheel appears to have about 900 degrees of rotation lock to lock, you’ll make use of pretty much all of that in Mudrunner as you maneuver a lumbering log truck. The race cars in other games don’t need such travel. I think the T128 is a good entry level steering wheel and it gets the job done without breaking the bank.

My so. Uses it for pc games. He says it’s smooth. I’ve been told the quality is great and since he’s not broke it I’ll agree. Impressed with the realness of the wheel turn though it’s a little touchier than a normal wheel.

Makes any simulator game way more realistic. Works perfectly for farm sim 22 and American truck sim

I could not get it to connect to my PlayStation 5. Everytime i tried it said connection timed out.
