Customers frequently mention the excellent force feedback and quality of the pedals. The price point is also frequently praised, with many considering it a great value, especially as an entry-level direct drive wheel. However, some users experienced challenges with the firmware update process and found the base to be large. The wheel's compatibility and customization options are generally well-received.

Out of the box the first thing you're going to notice if you have been in the sim-racing world for a bit is how tall the base of the T598 is compared to others. Initially I was a little on the fence from an aesthetics standpoint and when first mounted it took a little getting used. Not a big deal, just had to move where I had some things mounted with my other setups taking the footprint is so drastically different given the axial design vs radial of my other setups. It is like a hockey puck standing on end, so a plus to this is that it is very shallow and has a tiny footprint.
I mounted it using the bracket and feet as my cockpit has my previous setup locked in and I wanted to get to using it as quickly as possible. The aforementioned brackets do an amazing job locking everything into place. They're plastic, but very thick and have rubberized feet to help grip whatever you're attaching them to.
Wiring is very straight forward. You have your power brick + power cable, brake/gas 2-in-1 splitter that connects from the pedals up to the back of the wheel, and a USB data cable to run from the back of the wheel to your PS or PC.
The wheel itself is very nice, though there is a lot of plastic, especially on the rim. The 3 and 9 position have a leatherette material that is very nice but the 12 and 6 positions have a hollow plastic that feels quite cheap. Everything else about the wheel is very nice, the buttons have a great feel, not mushy but also don't "click" which I personally find annoying, so the fact these buttons fall smack dab in the middle of those two things is perfect. You also get 4 different sets of uses out of each button thanks for the "S" setting on the bottom right P/+/-/S pod. There is an LED that cycles between green, red, blue, yellow informing you as to which preset you are on. The shifter paddles are metal with a very satisfying depression/release "click" to them. The quick release that Thrustmaster uses is simple, allowing for swapping between wheels from their catalog in seconds. I deducted .25 of a star here for the hollow plastic bits in very prominent positions as well as the lack of a rotary dial. At this price point I would expect a better choice of materials for the entirety of the wheel as more than just push-buttons on the wheel itself. Yes, you get a lot of button combos with the 4-level feature, but an actual rotary dial would make up for a lot and make this just about the perfect entry-level wheel.
Pedals are equally easy to get up and running. Brake pedal has two spring options while the gas has a single spring. Each has 3 physical positions to select from, note that if you use the firmer spring option on the brake pedal that you only had 2 positions as the spring is too short to reach the further notch. The instructions show you what force will result from the notch + spring combination, so you can really dial in a firmer or looser feel depending on what you're looking for. And swapping between the notches and/or springs isn't time consuming at all once you have everything together. Everything pops out and goes back together in seconds. The pedal base has rubber bottom feet and comes with click-in carpet attachments which is what I used given the location of my rig.
Of note with the pedal base; it tips when applying pressure in most situations. I'm sure when mounted into a cockpit this would be a non-issue, as obviously you're mounting it down. But, straight out of the box when using it on carpet with the supplied teeth attachments the heel side of the base lifts off the ground unless you keep at least one heel firmly planted in place. Now, my driving style might be a little different to others, but I wanted to mention this all the same. I found a quick solution was to place a dumbbell (15 lbs did the trick for me) and it hasn't moved at all since. The teeth do an amazing job holding it in place on the toe side, so I'm thinking if Thrustmaster had maybe designed a third carpet tooth attachment that clicked onto the heel side maybe this would be a non-issue. But, they didn't so I have to point it out as it negatively affected my experience with the T598. I deducted .50 of a star for this. I plan on eventually bolting the T598 down into my cockpit, but I am reviewing it out of the box with only the various pieces Thrustmaster provided.
Finally, there is a small screen on the base. Depending on your seating position it is easily blocked from view, which is easy to accomplish as the screen is quite small. When it is in view, legibility is a non-issue. It provides not only race information, but also has on-board setting adjustment capabilities meaning you don't always have to go into the desktop software. Issue here being that you navigate using the L3/R3 and then the directional arrows on the wheel. Menus are well thought out, but some settings are buried in multiple sub-menus which take some time getting used to. I'm splitting hairs here on this, but feel that if the screen were even 25% larger a lot of this would be remedied. I appreciate what they were going for with the screen and once you're used to it it isn't all that bad, but even after a week of use I still find myself wishing it was just a bit more prominent or even just better placed. I deducted .25 of a star for the various screen-related nitpickings.
Overall I love the wheel. It is a HUGE improvement over the belt driven wheels I've primarily used in the past and also holds it's own against some much more expensive directdrive wheels I've tried out over the years.
Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great jumping off point into the sim-racing world. Thrustmaster has a huge selection of wheels and has also announced there will be further upgrades available for the T598, the 3-pedal add-on in particular is something I'm looking forward to. Buy with confidence and (15 lbs. dumbbell aside) enjoy straight out of the box!

My first wheel, and it is everything I hoped

I am an avid gamer, but I am not a wheel or sim racing expert. This review is coming from the perspective of an everyday gamer rather than an esports competitor or hardcore wheel enthusiast. The Thrustmaster T598 is my first wheel and I am enjoying it immensely so far. The setup contains the servo base, wheel, and pedals.
The boxed weight is a bit heavy, weighing in at over 20+ pounds, but only because of the quality parts, including all-metal brakes. The wheel is beautifully designed with attractive faux carbon fiber styling, easily accessible paddles and buttons, and a slip resistant grippy texture.
Assembly was simple and straightforward, taking approximately 20 minutes. All required tools and materials, including desk clamps, are provided. I’m waiting on a nice wheel stand that I ordered, but it’s backordered and won’t arrive for another full week. I clamped the wheel onto a portable personal table for the time being. Not an ideal setup but it works better than expected.
Despite the bulk and weight, the wheel can easily clamp onto nearly any tabletop and doesn’t require an elaborate rig to house. Any suitably sized table with good balance and enough weight to avoid easily tipping will suffice.
The pedals currently sit on the floor and are easily accessible. Both pedals have adjustable resistance, but the brake pedal additionally offers two spring options for resistance. I played around with different spring and depth combos until I found the sweet spot for responsiveness. Once in place and installed correctly, the wheel and pedals feel secure, are sufficiently stationary and are not easily moved out of position. The pedals are a two-pedal setup, so no clutch pedal is included, at least not yet. However, the wheel does have paddle shifters for those shifting manually.
The T598 required a firmware update before first use. I connected it to my Windows PC, and downloaded the MyThrustmaster dashboard app. I checked the existing firmware versions and applied the latest firmware updates if needed for the wheel and pedals through the app. Using the PC was the only way for me to update the wheel as I am not able to do so through the console. There is also a MyThrustmaster smartphone app available. I don’t know the full capabilities of the mobile app, and I haven’t personally tried it, but several mobile app reviewers stated that they still needed to use a PC to manage the wheel.
This is something vital to keep in mind for those interested in this wheel who don’t own a Windows PC. I wouldn’t suggest acquiring it without access to even a bare bones PC. The dashboard doesn’t require a powerful gaming rig to simply manage and update the wheel. I used a basic integrated graphics laptop to manage it initially so I could play it on PS5 before eventually using it on my gaming PC.
The T598 wheel is compatible with the PS4, PS5, and PC. It connects to compatible devices via the included USB A to C cable and is powered by a detachable AC power supply similar to a laptop charger. The controls on the wheel are mapped and labeled similar to a standard PS5 controller. The wheel connects in similar manner as a controller and is activated by pushing the PS button on the wheel.
Once connected, the setup was fully functional and ready to go. Aside from the firmware update, I did not need to perform any additional calibration or configuration changes prior to use on the PS5. The wheel has multiple selectable PlayStation modes applicable to certain console generations and games. The default mode 1 works fine for me on the PS5 with Gran Turismo 7, so there was no need to change it.
I had low expectations initially because I have never used a sim wheel for home gaming. I’ve used realistic sim wheels on racers in actual arcades, but everything I’ve used at home thus far has been plastic toy-like wheels. It admittedly took a little effort and patience for me to become skilled at using the wheel, particularly during more competitive races, but I don’t consider it to be overly difficult.
This wheel is realistic yet is still fun because it handles so smoothly and accurately. Cabin view, typically my least favorite view when using a controller, is myfavorite view with this wheel. The view gives me a better perspective of speed, elevation, turns, and road surface, resulting in more appropriate and realistic throttle and braking. In addition to the grippy texture, the wheel has a smooth rotation, solid feel, and realistic feedback. I love how it vibrates when I brake, skid, or drive over gravel or offroad obstacles.
As stated earlier, I’m no wheel expert, so I can’t speak to every technical spec of the wheel beyond the basics. However, you don’t need to be an expert to learn and operate this wheel. It works fine for a newcomer like me and it is beyond sufficient for my needs. It is smooth, smoothly responsive, and I was able to immediately use it without any difficulty in GT7. Combined with cabin view, it provides the most immersive home racing setup that I’ve experienced to date.
Although I like the wheel, I discovered that it may not be everyone’s cup of tea. There are some nuances with it that may make some find a controller easier to use in several aspects, particularly when it comes to game and system compatibility. As a new wheel user, the most eye-opening lesson I learned was that wheels are not nearly as universal plug and play friendly as a controller, even with individual games.
For example, this specific wheel works fine with Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 but isn’t compatible with Forza Horizon 4 and although it’s compatible, I’m also having trouble getting Forza Horizon 5 to work properly on PC. The game keeps detecting the wheel as a Thrustmaster 248, and the controls don’t work. I tried re-mapping the controls but any changes I make aren’t saving as they should. I found some promising driver tips online that I plan to try, but these are some of the quirks that can arise with a wheel that are mostly non-existent with controllers, especially OEM controllers. I’m personally fine with the limitations because I mainly wanted a wheel for sim racers like GT7 and Assetto Corsa rather than arcade racers like Horizon. And this thing is fantastic in GT7.

The THRUSTMASTER T598 has changed the entire simulated driving experience for me. I’ve played simulated driving games since the 90’s and have always enjoyed the thrill of conquering different courses. I’ve wanted to try a set up like this, but never gave it a try until now and let me tell you, I’m so happy I did. Not only did it really bring to life the experience, it also gave me a driving experience that is like no other.
Set up of the THRUSTMASTER T598 if not done properly can really make for a long-drawn-out process. Just to help you all so you don’t make the same mistake as me. Where the pedals plug into the back of the wheel, there are 2 ports that the cord can plug into. Make sure to plug the cord into the left port. So, if you start up your wheel and get an error on the screen, just unplug your pedals and try the other port.
Now to continue on with set up in all it was quite simple, once I figured out my error, the first thing I did was download My THRUSTMASTER panel to my PC. Once that was complete, I plugged the THRUSTMASTER in a USB port on my PC and let the program load the latest software onto my system. Once that was done, I plugged the USB from the driving system back into my PS4 and gave it a go.
The features of the T598 are over the top. The direct axial drive motor gives you tons of feedback when driving. This feature makes you feel like you are actually at the wheel of the vehicle on screen. Pedal shifters, let you chose the right gear while battling it out with other vehicles. Making you feel even more in control of the racecar you’re piloting. The accelerator and brake pedals have good feel to them but for me they are spaced a little far apart and the spring for the brake pedal is a bit too stiff for my liking. Although, for the most part they work great very accurate to inputs given and heightens the experience even more. There’s a display screen on the THRUSTMASTER that can display different things but I use mine as a speedometer as it a quick reference and I just like the way it looks.
The fit and finish of the T598 is great and the feel of like the real thing. The engineers must have put hundreds if not thousands of hours into this THRUSTMASTER. I’m able to control my games all from this wheel and never have to touch the conventional controller which is a plus. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and plan to put many thousands of miles on it. If you’re on the fence about the T598 go ahead and get it you will not be disappointed. It’s an experience like no other.

Sim racers, here is a newly released wheel and pedal system that will step up your game on PS5 or PC. I've been able to experience this amazing setup with the ps5 on Gran Turismo 7. The ability to have many custom settings with this kit will win racers out there that have been looking to address at a good price point.
Setup was a bit complicated for me as I had to unmount my old hardware from my racing rig. Note, that depending on your rig, it may not align perfectly with the default mounting holes. I had to get a little creative to mount the steering wheel motor. For me the pedals did not lone up with the bracket that my racing rig came with so I will need to manually drill out holes in order for me to bolt down these pedals so that they do not move around when playing aggressively. If buying for the first time, the instructions are fairly easy to follow. Just make sure you connect everything and then CLICK THE ON SWITCH IN THE BACK OF THE WHEEL MOTOR in order to turn on the wheel. I missed these instructions as it isn't clearly listed, they just show picture instructions.
Realistic gameplay and feedback is what you are stepping up to. Feel all the track's features from rumble strips, hard braking, and dirt features. The way it just smoothly operates that resistance is just other worldly. It is a big improvement over another competitive brand that I used to use for cheaper.

I have been really eager to try out the new Thrustmaster T598 as there have been a lot of things floating around online for awhile now about this being a really new & innovative concept. It took a few weeks waiting for it to finally ship but it was finally on its way just before the holidays. Once it arrived I was a bit surprised at the weight of the box which I thought was a good thing since this is a form of a direct drive wheel. Now I understand I am not completely unbiased since I already own a racing rig that I pieced together last year and spent about $5000 on with various high end components. My current wheel base is a Simagic which I have loved since buying but my whole reason for wanting the T598 was so that I could have a sort of second setup downstairs that I could do some occasional casual racing on. Now given I have some high end gear I may tend to be a tiny bit biased but I have honestly tried not to be when reviewing this wheel.
I was pleasently pleased with the packaging and upon unboxing I was really liking what I was pulling out of the box. There are several items that are packaged seperately in a neat & orderly fashion that made sense. I first pulled out the wheelbase itself which had a bit of weight to it and once I got it unwrapped and sat on the table I sat staring at the shape & size of it. It is shaped unlike any other base that I've seen and I wondered how this was going to work out. Well I decided to go ahead & unwrap everything & put all of the pieces together which did not take very long, maybe 10 - 15 mins max. Now that everything was ready I was ready to mount the base to my desk and this was where things started to go south in a hurry. While the hardware worked really well to attach the base as soon as I had it in place I knew this would not work in the end because of how high it sits. I moved the chair up to the wheel & grabbed it to end up feeling like I was a semi truck driver. Ok, I figured let me finish the hookups & see what happens. After installing the Thrustmaster software & updating the firmware, which is a MUST, I was ready to try things out.
First I realized that the software control to setup the wheel via the app is not functional, YET. Not sure why this would ship without this aspect being functional, makes it seem rushed. With that said I was able to follow the menu in the provided directions to make all of the necessary settings adjustments. Now when doing this it helps to look online to find what the best settings are as there have been many people using the wrong settings and then ending up displeased with the wheelbase. Now at this point I was basically ready to race and I almost exclusively race on Iracing. Once in the sim I had to swap over from my other equipment to the T598 which only took a few minutes but as soon as I began that process I had to begin interacting with the wheel and pedals and again found myself myself extremely uncomfortable with where the placement was, its just too high. I sat for a few minutes wondering what I could do to fix this, there's no way to mount it from the top side like most wheel bases which would have completely fixed this issue as it would have dropped it down substantially to where it felt comfortable. After staring at things forever I could not think of a single thing to do to fix this without buying a cheap amazon fold up rig which if I ever plan to regularly use the T598 I will have to do. Alright, I hate this but I am at least going to push on and try to run a race to see how the wheel feels. I was honestly impressed as soon as I began driving, really decent FFB and response given the price point of the product. The effects were really nice and everything worked great even though the included wheel does honestly feel a bit toyish but it will work just fine. Now my only other pet peeve is the pedal set, its not garbage but it really needs to weigh a bit more and if you were to ever purchase the optional clutch pedal and add to it I just feel that it is not nearly wide enough to have 3 pedals mounted on the base. All in all the T598 is great for what it is but a few minor tweaks for another $50 could have made this a true standout setup for everyone on an average size budget that wants into racing. Hopefully the software will be activated soon which will benefit the usability quite a bit as it is awkward to make changes via the wheelbase itself. Overall I would reccomend the T598 to anyone that was interested.

I'm quite impressed with this unit. The force feedback is stronger than it should be and in iracing I've only been able to get this to clip once on a bad wreck. The pedal adjust ability is not bad and I was able to easily add pedal shakers with $10 in parts from home depot in mounting hardware. The software is a little underwhelming, TM needs to step up on this front, but it's not critical to functionality, only an annoyance. I'm looking forward to the load cell pedal add-on, it really should have been available upon the wheel's release. The plastic body doesn't bother me at all, and it really doesn't get as hot as other DD wheels.

I wanted to upgrade from a T300RS without spending too much. I wanted a direct drive wheel. But keep in mind the feedback force upgrade is only from 3.9nm to 5 nm with the T598 peaking at 10 nm of force.
The T598 is alot smoother without the belt that the T300 has. Also I have not experienced any overheating issues or loss of feedback force from 2-3 hours of play. I already had the Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals and is working perfectly.
Gran Turismo 7 still needs an update for this wheel for more feedback details. It feels there is less road details I'm getting from the T300. It is being recognized as the T-GT II. In Forza Horizon 5 on PC, it is feels way better than the T300 but is recognized as a T248.
Another thing to consider is that my wheel stand is able to handle this force feedback. That was another factor that helped me decide to this instead of going for a stronger direct drive wheel. So if you are deciding to go for a stronger wheel, you also have to make sure your wheel stand or desk can handle the difference in force.
The housing is plastic but it is still durable. It's not like you are touching it or looking at it while playing your game. The height of the base is higher and have the option to use the angled base. I had to lower my wheel stand to compensate for the increased height and angle.
The wheel provides customization on feedback elements that can be saved to 3 different profiles. Each profile also has its own settings that you can fine tune.
Overall, this is a great wheel from Thrustmaster. I suggest you wait a little longer until other games add this wheel to their profile so that it receives its full support.

Before using the wheel the firmware will need to be updated. The manual provides the steps to do the update but, there is a trick to it. When holding the settings and L3 button down, continue to cycle the power switch on the back until the PC acknowledges its connected to the wheel...should hear the connection sound. The settings and L3 button can be released after successful connection and the wheel base screen will remain blank. At this point the firmware will update. The firmware updates are incremental. First got the wheel to firmware 1.98. A repeat of the firmware update got the wheel to firmware 2.07.
After the wheel is updated, to use with a PS5, turn the wheel on and press the PS button on the wheel. That will connect the wheel to the PS5. After connected, GT7 had no issues recognizing the wheel. The wheel is not an available wheel in GT7 but is recognized as the TGT II.
This wheel is fantastic for GT7. Set the wheel settings using the settings button based on the ThrustMaster recommended settings for GT7 (found on their website). After I did that, the wheel made the game amazing. The wheel is pretty much silent when playing GT7. The paddle shifters are also very low noise when shifting. The wheel buttons are not so great...sometimes need to double press to get the button to work. The pedals are all metal and work great. They include 2 springs for the brake pedal so stiffness can be adjusted. They are on a narrow mount plate that could make it challenging to mount to a stand or cockpit plate.

I bought this looking for the best bang for my buck for an entry level wheel. It has not disappointed at all! The base is fairly quiet, the pedals are solid (although I wish the brake was more varied like an actual car), and the wheel rim is good enough considering the package price. The force feedback is excellent, not onlybdo you feel it harder to turn the faster you're going, but you can also feel the curbs and road texture on some games. If you're looking to start sim racing but not ready to go all in, or looking to take the next step from a cheaper wheel, i highly suggest this as a strong option to consider.

The Thrustmaster T598 was my first Direct Axial Drive wheel. I upgraded from a used Thrustmaster T80, which served me well for around six months. I think the price is very reasonable for what you get. I have been using the Thrustmaster T598 for over a month now, and I am very pleased. The sense of realism as well as my lap times have improved. The new Direct Axial Drive Technology feels very smooth and the force feedback feels extremely realistic when compared to a real car. The new gear jolt feature is the cherry on top for me. Such a small feature but so cool. The settings can be a bit confusing at first but thanks to the support page provided by Thrustmaster, that wasn’t a big problem for me. Also, to those of you concerned about this wheelbase only having 5NM of torque, its more than enough and I actually play with the settings turned down a little. Overall, I would definitely recommend this wheel to anyone looking to move to a direct drive or Direct Axial Drive wheel.

Amazing value bundle for Playstation. Impresive compatibility, I tried all kinds of racing games and everything just worked. Forcefeedback is somwhere in between the Fanatec GT DD Pro 5nm and 8nm. Feels incredibly responsive, and the feedback quality is prety good and I think it will only get better with time. Build quality could be much better but for the price is also not terrible. In terms of software and support I think there is still some work to be done. Over all I do think it feels good and I'm quite happy with the purchase. If you are on a budget and want direct drive on playstation I would say this is it. On PC tho the competition is a lot wider and there are a lot of other great options, but for playstation there is literally nothing like it for the price. I really feel like once they polish the software and native support in games (it does work with everything but it's not native yet) this bundle has the potential to be the new T300 in terms of sales and popularity. I also wanted to mention that it does look a bit weird at first but you get used to it quite fast.

Better than non direct drive

It was good overall. I got it as an open box and was missing the lighter break pedal spring. The harder one was good but you cannot use it on the carpet. The drive is definitely better the g29 and so are the pedals. I would suggest it over any non-direct drive wheels. I would say that the Logitech pro wheel is a lot nicer and the pedals are a lot better. But they are double the price. I don't know how it compares to the Fanatec but I got the Logitech ones for 15% off. As entry wheels go, I would say this is the best.
As for the death wobble. I had that issue in gt7. I was able to tune it out but it did blunt the feel of the wheel. I hope that they can tune this out better with their up dates but I will return mine and stay with the Logitech pro or Fanatec.

Worth the upgrade from the t300

MY OPINION IS BASED OFF GT7 USAGE ONLY.
For those inquiring about transitioning from a T300 to the T598, I've personally made that switch, so here's my take. The wheel isn't superior to the T300 factory rim; it feels cheap, and the buttons are unreliable, often resulting in double inputs or no input at all. The paddle shifts are satisfying, but there's noticeable latency between shifting and in-game response, which could be an issue with GT7 or the wheel itself. The wheel base has significant potential, but currently, the T300 offers better detail for road, curb, and rumble strips. This makes sense as the T598 doesn't yet have native support and the T300 has been supported for years. Torque is definitely an upgrade, and the wheel base shows great promise.
The pedals are vastly superior to the modified T3PA pedals I used previously. However, I would prefer a stiffer brake spring. The small base plate is an issue, especially for the third pedal, but I've heard that the load cell option will come with a larger base plate. I managed to bolt the pedals to my rig with some drilling.
I typically race for 3-4 hours at a stretch, and while the wheel base gets very hot, there's been no noticeable FFB fade. Time will tell how the heat affects it long term. Overall, if you're upgrading from almost any belt-driven wheel base, this is a solid choice. However, if you already have a TGT/II or are coming from another DD, you might want to wait until the software is more refined before making the switch.

If you need PlayStation compatibility it’s only direct drive drive competitor is the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro wheel base that normally costs $500 for just the wheel base and then you will still need the CSL wheel $120 and CSL pedals $80 to be a direct comparison plus a shipping fee direct from Fanatec that puts you well over $700 making the Thrustmaster the least expensive option on the market. Also if you go with the Fanatec you loose the PlayStation buttons that the Thrustmaster has on the wheel.
I’ve been using it for going on a month and it’s been great and a great step up from my belt driven Thrustmaster GT T300 RS. It’s got a good 300mm wheel that’s great for the price point. I like the red/black colors and the buttons are pretty good but not great.
Now onto the flaws that to me are maybe deal breakers when combined. First I’m no fan of the wheel base as it’s so tall I had to get creative to even be able to see the lower part of my monitor screen. The second flaw and major oversight in my opinion is the raceline pedal set is way to skinny to even consider adding a clutch pedal to it. If you did add one get ready for a very cramped and uncomfortable experience. Now if you don’t need or want a clutch your all good but I do so that forces me to buy one of Thrustmaster other pedal sets and that just took away a big advantage the Thrustmaster had over the Fanatec in value.
These flaws are probably a deal breaker for me but I’m not 100% if I’m going to return it but it’s probably going to be the case. You see I just bought the complete setup from Fanatec (with 8nm upgrade) with load cell break for just over $900 and once I get it I’m going to compare them directly to see what one is going to keep my money.
For my wallets sake hopefully the Thrustmaster wins!

It does require a firmware update to work on PC, but the difference between this and a Logitech G923 is night and day. Super smooth, quiet, and allows you to fine tune it from the wheel base.
I was worried about it working with Forza Motorsport, but the game recognized it and all the buttons work perfectly.
I don't know how well it works on Playstation, but on PC it is all the wheel you need if you want to get serious.
The pedals are also much better than I expected. The brake is easy to modulate, and the accelerator is just right.

I dont gave experience with any other DD and apent a long time going back and forth between the popular brands and torque strengths. In the end I settled on this wheel. The 5.5 Nm is more than enough to get the feeling without fighting the wheel. Force feedback is supposed to be just that, feedback, not an arm workout, so i feel like it does the job with very smooth efficiency. The pedals are adequate, being that its thrustmaster i am sure they will make a addon for load cell in the future. The set was a great addition to my sim rig and the thrustmaster shifter completed the set so i can use it for PC and Console.

I'm giving this wheel 5-stars because of the quality and price point. Comparing this to the Logitech G923, the direct drive is far superior. Shifting pedals are much more realistic while you give up a little with some plastic on the wheel, this is an awesome mid-tier set up. The pedals have a great amount of adjustments from height, to resistance. Once installed, it does work with Dirt 2 on PS5 straight away.

First DD wheel here, and gotta say I'm pretty impressed. More feeling and feed back than ever before, the torquebis enough to make it fun but not break a thumb or wrist IMO. Great product for the money!

It is very easy to install, is resistant and has good finishes. A little big and would improve the location of the buttons. An update is needed to install the third pedal
