This product is a great fit on the MacBook, I havent thankfully needed to test the drop safety of it but it feels very sturdy and gives me a huge piece of mind as I use my laptop for dj and band work so its moved around a lot.

This case for my new Macbook Pro is awesome.As other reviews state, it is somewhat difficult to install, but once it is on, the case is awesome. I feel very comfortable with this case on. Also, I love the look of the case.

Dropped the laptop shortly from a table after putting this on and it protected it well.

first off let me tell you this case is worth the money for the level of protection it offers not like those speck cases, which cost almost the same but offer only scratch protection, and probably wouldnt stand a chance against a mere small drop. This case is on the bulky side so if sleek and elegant is what your looking for you wont find sleek but you will find elegant. The case overall looks pretty cool and you can tell it would protect your precious laptop from any drops. My only problem with the case is that in terms of scratch protection you have to insert these plastic liners in between the macbook and case which is kinda lame, and really hard and doesnt fit perfectly, also laptop gets hotter and can not cool as effeciently because of said plastic liners, the air just doesnt cool the aluminum surface because its suffocated behind those plastic scratch guards.Also you can still dent the macbook in the middle of the screen and the middle of the bottom because it is open in these areas. Also on the bottom, across the screen where the screen and hinge meet, the case doesnt offer much protection at all, its flimsy and weak and seems like it doesnt offer much protection at that specific point, All in all this case is very good for its price point, id suggest finding a retaill open box or cleaner as it is quite pricey.

The cover really makes it safer my computer for little bumps and nudges. I am very very grateful that this product is available for such a wonderful Price. Would buy again and recommend it to my friends

I looked at a lot of covers for my Mac Book Pro. I wanted one that could truly protect the laptop, yet make it easy to travel with. This was the best one I found that met all my requirements and expectations. It fits perfectly and doesn't add to much bulk. The transparent top and bottom inserts let the beauty of the aluminum Mac Book show thru. If you have to remove the case it comes off without to much effort. I highly recommend this item.

This is a different kind of case then what I am used to. I like the coverage from the scratch plates for my new MacBook Pro

It's case for the mac book pro 13" is great! It's more sturdy than the flexible speck covers. The color is black n light blue so it looks nice. there are plastic shields to help prevent scratches which is very important to me! The reason for 4 stars is it is difficult to attach to the system. The 0lastic antiscratch shields are difficult to get in place and then easily slide out. Otherwise, the case is sturdy and even snaps shut. Better case overall if you are around small children!

Works Fantastic! I just recently took the cover off and found not one scratch on my mac.

I haven't had this long, but it looks to be a pretty good case. It was very easy to place on my laptop and appears that it will provide good coverage and protection. Not really an issue, but it does kind of snap off the top a little when you open the laptop, so I have to snap it back down in place.

I bought this case thinking it was going to be cheap. This product surpassed my expectations. It protects from scratches, scuffs, marks and drops.

The Thule case is a bit clumsy to put together and put on the computer. The clear middle screen isn't actually attached to the black frame, in case you don't want to put it on. Other than getting it on the computer, it's sturdy. Thule claims it can withstand a drop from 1 meter, but I'm not really willing to test that out.. It does look nice and for those Apple fans that like to show off the Apple, yes you can see it. Overall: sturdy and does what is expected.

Although I have not tried the drop test, this is a really nice looking and sturdy case. As others have said, the clear inserts can be a little bit of trouble to get in place, but it's not that bad really. My only real problem with the case is there is not quite enough clearance around the USB and HDMI ports. Some USB drives and HDMI cables hit the case and won't seat fully. It's a workable issue, but a bit of an annoyance on an expensive case.

I didn't know Thule made MacBook cases but I really love the look and feel of this case. It seems to add solid protection without a lot of extra bulk. It also adds some really nice grip for taking my MacBook in and out of my backpack. If you are looking for added protection and really nice looking case I would highly recommend it.

Think of it like a cell phone case. Provide great protection. The scratch guards are a pain to put on, but other than these things are great.

It's is a good solid case. I think if I dropped my Mac it would be fine with this case on it.

With this case, you get the feeling of it being very protective against drops on the corners, but there is a significant (at least in my opinion) amount of bulk added to my MBP. I also dont care for the inserts that are made to protect the top and bottom from scratches. I also notice when I go to open the laptop, when I pull on the tab to "unlock" it, it comes loose a little bit from the laptop. I think $60 is a decent price for this brand. Thule makes great products so its reputation is what made purchase this. Sadly, because of the bulk and lack of good protection against scratches, I will be returning this. It is better than the Incase that I originally bought, but I carry too many items to have a bulky case like this on my MBP.

Very good quality. Not very thick but provides enough protection. A bit hard to put in, but worthy to buy than other alternatives.

Out of all Macbook cases this is probably the best, since specks and cases similar to specks scratch your laptop, trap a lot of dirt and hair (especially if you have pets), and crack when you take them on or off. This case is also definitely a lot more protective than other cases out there (but its also more bulky). The one thing that bothers me about this case though is that a corner of mine has already chipped after having it a month, and the scratch protector (which is optional if you want to use or not) becomes unaligned every once in a while and its annoying. I choose this case over the other types I've had previously simply because it doesn't scratch my laptop and its more protective.
