Blu ray Bond is best ! I am replacing all of my DVDs with the blu ray version for my 4K player and flat screen. Better picture, sound, and more durable disc.

Bond returns to action in this epic 4th adventure that takes things to the Bahamas in search of a destructive bomb and the sinister organization SPECTRE holding the world hostage. Initially released in 2008 and undergone many cover art changes this Lowry early 4K restoration refreshes the film to it's full glory with only slight flicker here and there from age. The extras like all the other Bond Blu-rays are extensive. If you are anticipating the release of the upcoming SPECTRE (as of writing this) and want to know the full power of what terror that organization can inflict on the world this is perhaps one of the most grand Bond films that shows them in action plus Connery is great as usual.

Still the best OO7 portrayer, Connery fit the character perfectly (although Daniel Craig is a close second) when the first James Bond movies came to the screen. This, and "FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE", are my 2 favorite Bond movies. Action prevails and the actors/actresses fulfill all ones expectations. It's a 007 movie with only a few of the comic remarks that detracted from future installments. When I read Ian Fleming's 007 books (which I still reread on occasion) Bond comes across as a serious, no-nonsense spy, with special human skills, which this movie exemplifies.

If you're looking to add to your Blu-ray movie collection with some older Bond flicks and don't feel like spending the coin on the box-set, the Steelbook offerings from Best Buy are worth the money. Quality Blu-ray, not that cheaper quality thin stuff, and the packaging is eye-catching as well. As for the movie, well, if you're a Bond fan and haven't seen Thunderball yet, you NEED to see it. Hands down one of the best Bond films from that era.

This is my second favorite Bond movie. "Goldfinger" being number 1. This film was made on a grander scale. It certainly has a Cold War feel to it. Even though it is 50 years old, I think it still holds up as one of the best Bond films. And Sean Connery does his usual great job. Nice for me to add to my DVD collection

Obviously the main reason to purchase is the film. If you are a fan this edition isn't a bad choice. I would have liked something different in extras like deleted scenes such as they had for Steel Book version of Diamonds are Forever. However some of the old specials etc from 60s have a nice time warp interest

I absolutely love these collectors editions products that Best Buy is selling. I'm a HUGE James Bond fan and am excited to see these movies offered in such a classy and stylish format. I just wish (hint hint) that they would finally offer Dr.No in this steal box edition.

Can still recall the first time I saw this at the theater. Sean Connery was definitely on a roll, following Goldfinger, thunderball, then you only live twice. Blu-ray excellent picture and sound not all movies from this time period can say the same.

I grew up watching all of the Bond films on TV and in the movie theater, and Thunderball has always been one of my favorites. This new steelbook edition from Best Buy is beautifully glossy and depicts artwork from the iconic opening title sequence.

I've seen about all the Sean Connery's depictions of 007 and this one is up there. He goes after Emilio Largo out at sea with one of the most epic water battles I've seen, at least for it's time. The jet pack scene is pretty cool also.

All James bond movie are awesome this movie is especially awesome because of the underwater scene be sure to get this movie and watch it you will really enjoy it. Of course it is an older movie but still really good

After some trials of getting this movie via postal service for my husband for Christmas, it was Great! Sean Connery was Great as usual. Will surely miss his acting!!

I like James Bomd films; especially the Daniel Craig ones, but these older ones are cheesy and dated by comparison. I purchased this item cuz I really liked the steelbook, it's really well done. Don't expect the high thrills from the Craig Bond films, these old ones are very tame.

This is a great classic Bond film that is sure to thrill!! It was a terrific deal on sale for $9.99 with the beautiful artwork on the Steelbook case. It also includes an HD digital copy. You won't be disappointed.

Best Buy is showing a picture of Roger Moore, but the movie review is for Thunderball, which starred Sean Connery. Assuming that Thunderball is the correct movie under review, this is a good one to see. Excellent under-water sequences and a fun plot.

Thunderball is classic James Bond starring Sean Connery. The blu-ray has good picture and sound though it could use a new scan. Most Bond fans have the movie but this version comes with a steelbook. For collectors, be watchful for dents and scratches.

Movies like this were a teenagers dream. Beautiful women, and things that go boom are displayed in this film. The fear of the times a nuclear disaster is encompass in this film Bond fights against Largo and his awesome female assasin and others.

This is a great James Bond movie that was at a great price. All of the older Bond movies look really good in Blu-ray format. Thunderball is action packed and can still be enjoyed and appreciated today.

Thunderball is one of my favorite bond movies. I always thought the storyline was very good. The bluray transfer is great. The picture is sharp and the audio is great. A must for any Bond fan.
