Got this CD for a friend, got delivered a day before it was predicted to be delivered to my friends address and my loved different versions of the songs!!

Some soundtracks differ from what you hear on the move but this sticks to the theme of the movie and has some really great bands on it.

Timeless CD! I love the way the artists made each song their own!

This disc does a good job at taking a beloved soundtrack that is so well know and giving us a very unique, and sometimes very dark, perspective on this classic movie soundtrack. A few years ago after the re-release of the soundtrack with the bonus disc of other performers singer I wondered why more songs were not recorded. Well know they have done it. With almost 20 different performers and groups on this disc we are given a cornucopia of musical styles. Some are very light-hearted and other are quite eerie and dark (tracks 3, 5, and 7). The "Town Meeting Song" has an epic feel to it kind of like Pink Floyd's The Wall. The original will always be my favorite but this is a lot of fun to listen to.

I love it. Nightmare Before Christmas is a classic, and I absolutely love it. This only makes my love for it even greater. The only things I don't like are Jack's Lament, the All American Rejects really messed it up, and Town Meeting Song was ruined as well, but other than that this CD is amazing... Go buy it!!!!

This CD was an amazing listening experience. An amazing revival of an iconic film. The songs were great, very well done by the artists. I love this album.

Love the new music. These artists put a good spin on these songs. Go get it along with the Newly released 2-Disc movie.

I purchased this because the dialog indicated that the Fiona Apple version of Sally would be included. Clearly, that was false advertising. The rest of the CD is fine, but I was after *that* track in particular. Someone missed the boat on this...
