After setting up, come to find out you have to pay a monthly fee to use, so returned it.

Had to give 1 star in order to review this, it's not worth 1 star though. Only worked for a very short time, this is the second one of these that we've had to return we're done!

We are happy to own a Tivo now so we do t have to pay rent to a cable company anymore! We purchased the one time fee and hope that means for the life of the unit. We plan to save a lot of money.

I don't know how the TiVo itself is. They portrayed it wrong in the description. It said it was for antenna and cable ready. It is absolutely not cable ready. Not even cable capable. So had to return it.

Works like a charm a far superior cable viewing like experience with free over the air signal. Upgraded from my TiVo Romeo a month ago no complaints.

This item is the bomb. So happy we went online looking for this brand. It's exactly what I wanted and does exactly what i need. Tks Best Buy

IDK why these companies like best buy INSIST on reviews without a proper test time frame. I have had 'Tivo" send me new remotes, to replace defective one shipped with unit. The unit will still not hold/retain it's ability to both record, and pause live TV. 2 big reasoning's in the purchase in the first place. I left ALL RATINGS AT 1 OR ZERO, for a reason!! AGAIN THE JURY IS STILL OUT as to whether or not to force best buy to replace or return funds!!

Good, but am having to get used to the new program display method, but I can see how it is more like what cable TV does for its customers.

Little bit of a learning curve, but it is great to record our network shows without a cable service. And the voice feature is awesome!

It runs beautifully so far and I am taking my time in learning all its unique programs to make my life more better.

Cut the satellite television cord but still wanted the DVR convenience. This does the trick!!!

NO One at the store knew ANYTHING about the TiVo I purchased. No one could give me any info and knew absolutely nothing about it. And several people were asked. I don’t know how a store can sell something they know nothing about. If I was TiVo I’d find someone else to handle my product. If your looking to purchase a TiVo go online to do it. Best Buy doesn’t know crap about it!!!!

Unable to use because it requires high speed internet in order to be able to use it and we don't have high speed internet available. This wasn't specified in description. We haven't returned it because we are hoping to be able to get high speed internet sometime in the not too distant future and then we may be able to give it a more favorable rating.

This TiVo device works so much better than any of the other devices I’ve used.

Significantly better video, and more powerful tuner, than our old model.

It took a while to get it registered but then it works as intended

Just like having cable with the programing schedule. Easy to set up.

We are enjoying the freedom from no subscription TV.

Not a fan that you have to pay for certain parts of service
