To complement your main tivo Dvr, the mini is a great way to add the functionality of TiVo to additional rooms in your house. Best of all, it does not require any additional monthly fees.

With our cord cutting strategy we wanted to be able to view our recordings in our bedroom from our TiVo Bolt in the living room. The TiVo Mini gives us that capability as well as capturing the same channels received by the living room tv without having to connect the antenna to the bedroom tv. The reason I only gave it 4 stars was because I think it is over-priced and the requirement to connect both TiVo units via Ethernet and not wirelessly. While we have a newer home that already has each room networked to a central hub, many older houses would require additional network installation to be able to connect the devices.

Amazing how well it worksI can watch everything that my TiVo recorded on the downstairs system in my bedroom. Quite incredible. But you do need to Connect through ethernet

This little item put high def cable and dvr in a location without paying for a converter box or dvr. The perfect solution. 4K versions are available now. : )

The mini is a great addition paired with the TiVO Bolt in our house. I am completely satisfied with its performance. The bonus to this product is no extra monthly service charges.

The TiVo mini allows for an additional TV to run off the main TiVo box without an additional subscription. The TiVo mini allowed for all functionality of the main Tivo!

Extends Bolt functions to other TV's in the home. Best part is no lease charges for equipment. Set up was easy. i'm using LAN to connect to Bolt and everything works great...

The Mini provides access to my TiVo Roamio on another floor, We can watch anything whenever we want without being in same room as TiVo. I highly recommend the convenience.

This works exactly as described with the Roamio OTA. Easily uses the other unit with all the shows recorded and connected to the source for TV programming.

Two major factors for me not giving the TiVo mini 5 stars are as follows: 1) It is a PAIN to set up. Before you buy, please do your research. This is not a plug and play device. You will either need to create a MoCA network in your home or buy the Tivo bridge in order to use it. And it also takes hours before the device is activated by Tivo. So please do your homework. 2) It's 2017, yet the Tivo mini does not stream in 4k. That is a big downer. The picture quality is not horrible by no stretch, but I prefer the best picture quality possible. That's just my personal preference.

Added this to a TiVo Bolt. It was easy to install and works great with no lag. You can watch and record directly to your main TiVo. A great add-on for your main TiVo.

I got this TiVo Mini to get tv in another room. It works really great and the TiVo mini complements my TiVo Bolt very well. Highly recommend it if you own a TiVo.

We bought this to use in the basement alone with our other Tivo. It is amazing. I love being able to stream shows from my main DVR and watch in either place.

I love Tivo and the minis allow me to watch shows that I have recorded on any of my TVs. I now have this device on all my TVs in my house. Great product.

I do have this TiVo Mini on a older main unit 4-tuner TiVo model. TiVo mini had a long tedious first time setup, such as turned on the main unit TiVo Ethernet over coax cable feature, required login to my TiVo account to authorize it to connect to my main TiVo then installed latest software.. It was easy just time consuming, and only for first time setup then fully automatic after. Wife loves this in bedroom for smaller hdtv. It has No Fan and totally silent, runs cool, has festure to Turn Off all its lights, very nice. Cannot say enough good things about this TiVo mini. Love it.

I have two Tivo Minis. One connected by cat5 and the other by regular cable. Both perform flawlessly and provide full user control.

Easy to setup but you really need a good hardwire network connection to use it. If you internal home network connection speed is not 500GB or higher, I would not recommend it. The streaming from your main tivo to the mini would be cutoff.

The TiVo Mini works great with my TiVo Bolt. I followed the instructions provided in the box and it worked flawlessly the first time it was installed.

It works well but only if you have both TiVos connected to the Internet through cable and not wirelessly. It worked well in my living room where the modem is however I needed this TiVo mini in my bedroom where there's no modem so it didn't quite work.
