TiVo is a great alternative to provide whole house TV service without monthly fees to a cable provider for additional equipment. There is an ongoing fee for TiVo but mini boxes can be added for additional rooms without a fee increase. Also, existing coax wiring can be used for an easy connection.

In y opinion this is the best DVR money can buy. You stop RENTING your box from the cable company. It pays for itself within the 1st year. The lifetime subscription DVR service will save you thousands of dollars over its lifetime. Syncs with other TiVos flawlessly. 2 thumbs up!

While I love my Tivo Roamio, I was a bit disappointed with the Tivo Mini. It is very difficult to install. You have to activate the Mini with Tivo online or by phone, then set-up a MOCA network which is very confusing for an average person, and then once you get it working the signal drops out. I've had TV shows drop out on me over and over. Frustrating.

Connects well with my TIVO Bolt and plays all videos as it should. We use it to also connect to VUDU and Metflix with no problems. Keep in mind that this will not work without a primary TIVO. When our bolt was unplugged by accident the mini stopped working immediately.

Not ease to install but ease to use and save a lot money!

I was a bit skeptical went i first got the tivo mini. But the MOCA setting with my Tivo Bolt was a no brainer. Set up the tivo mini online under the same account as your Tivo Bolt; Make sure you update your Tivo Bolt. Everything else should be painless.

I wanted to be able to access my recordings and other tuners on my TiVo system, so I bought two Mini's for my bedroom and kitchen. It is like having a TiVo system in both rooms. I have access to everything on my main system via a Moca network, which my TiVo setup for me.

I love tivo. Been a customer since they began. With the add-on of instant commercial skip and the continuous improvements they are the best available. Perfect? No. You won't be disappointed. All of your shows in one place makes it so easy to find something good to watch.

Purchased to go with a Tivo Roamio to extend into the kitchen. Running on a wired network it seems to run and stream very well, and shares the Roamio's tuners well for watching different shows. The one feature it doesn't have that I'd like to see is "mirroring" between the two rooms so you can simultaneously watch the same source.

I bought 2 of these to have a "whole house" DVR solution with a TiVo Bolt as the primary DVR. Once I got the necessary networking set up (which can be either wired ethernet or MoCA (no wireless) they work perfectly and worked first time with no issues,

This is the second Tivo mini I've purchased. It works perfectly, just like the other one. Only complaint would be that it takes a few hours to do the set up (five minutes at home, and then you have to wait for Tivo to "activate" your account, which takes forever).

Best Buy did not have the mini in stock when I purchased the Romeo. It arrived a week later. I had some issues setting up the mini but called customer service and we completed the set up in about an hour. Works great, can't wait to cut the cable.

This is just what i needed. I use it in the basement and connect to the bolt. It only holds the tuner when it is actuve which is great. But it gives tivo access to the badement without the cost of another device. Awesome.

Connected this to a bedroom tv via a network cable. Works great and allows you to watch TV, Apps, and recorded shows. Only issue I have run into is loosing connection through the network. You have to go into the configuration screen and have it re-sync. A slight pain but that doesn't happen often.

Bought this to extend my TiVo Roamio from my living room to my upstairs bedroom. Although I thought I had a MOCA network available to me, but I ended up needing a network cable to use the mini to stream video. So far, mini has worked great, but it did take a half a day or so to activate through TiVo.

Works great over existing MoCa network with Bolt and Comcast. I will be testing with the same network and HD antenna soon. Note it is a dumb box so all of the main processes happen on the main box but you can watch live tv, recorded and netflix etc.

This is the perfect companion to our new TiVo Bolt... giving us all the benefits of TiVo in our bedroom. It's disconnected on us once while watching a recorded show, but this only seems to (maybe) happen when you're watching a show that hasn't finished recording. Other than that, it's a great little unit.

This an excellent addition to the TiVo Roamio OTA. With this, I can watch anything on my main TiVo box, Netflix and Hulu. I was able to get rid of my $150 a month DIRECTV bill and now only pay $20 a month for Netflix and Hulu...!!! Love it

Tivo mini is a pretty good option if you want avoid that cable company fee for additional box and beside the tivo mini do everything that box do and can conect to the Internet for Netflix, Amazon videos and more. I have two tivo mini and one Tivo Pro.
