I bought a couple of these Tivo Mini's to use with my new Tivo Bolt. Set up was straight forward, but I needed a MoCA connection, so it took a bit more to get it perfect . Works great !

I like this unit and it def continues with tivo great product line. Great interface, lighting fast. My only complaint is that it requires ethernet. I wish it was wireless like the bolt but other than that it's great.

This box works as described. Setup was relatively easy(I used ethernet connection) and took about 30 minutes. So far impressed with the performance. Remote is simple and very efficient.

This is my fifth mini and it works as well as all the others. Overall this really helps save $ over the cable companies equipment.

This is the second tivo mini I have purchased withing the last year. I highly recommend the mini for several reasons. First and foremost at present there is no more monthly charge from tivo to use it! Second it works flawlessly if you connect it via MoCA or via Ethernet ( keep in mind the mini does not have wirless built in) Third, it has some great apps such as netflix, vudu, mlb.tv, amazon prime and instant and they all work fairly well. If you own a four tuner DVR this little companion will give you a great whole home dvr solution. Its very small and takes up little space and the remote is very responsive. I highly recommend this product!

Used this with my new TiVo Roamio, and it works perfectly. It let's me use my second TV as an extension of my Roamio, so now I can watch all recorded and live programs from both locations. The only drawback is that you need a wired connection for both units. Lucky for me that I have hardwired Ethernet at both locations. MoCA can work too if cable connections are available at both locations. I would recommend this product for people who like using DVRs but don't want multiple full units all around the house. Also good for people who hate Comcast and don't want to pay for their DVR arrangement!

Bought this unit to go with a Roamio DVR and Comcast Internet Plus. XFinity On Demand works seamlessly with Roamio, and no additional calls to Comcast were required. Netflix and Amazon work fine. Love the search that spans across all the video providers. Wish there were more apps and video providers supported to avoid having to juggle Roku, Chromecast and Fire as well. I did run Ethernet to eliminate any WiFi issues and avoid having to deal with MOCA.

Awesome for 2nd TV! Note: Requires Tivo console on another TV (I have one of the Roamio's on another TV). It also requires either a Moca connection (cable coax) or ethernet connection to connect back with your other Tivo. (As a cheap substitute for running ethernet across the house, I'm using a TPLink powerline adapter, which plugs in to a power outlet and picks up a signal - about $30).

This is the 3rd Tivo mini that I have purchased. Easy setup and great performance. I would recommend.

Excited about finally having a TiVO "network" in my home. Have been looking at TiVO for many many years and couldn't decide if it was worth putting out cash for a DVR. The mini gives me access to my primary DVR (a ROAMIO plus recently purchased directly through TiVO because I didn't act fast enough to buy through Best Buy - great holiday deals!). I am setting up a MoCA network (wifi through coax) and the mini has MoCA capability built right in - no adapters needed.

This is an awesome choice for whole house viewing of your Tivo. I had to get a Moca adapter and a POE filter but after that everything works well. It does use one of your tuners when you are viewing live TV but that has not been a problem as it will warn you if the main Tivo needs that tuner. You can always watch recorded shows without using a tuner. When I purchased mine it also came with a few lifetime subscription. What a bonus! Love it.

Could not get Mini to function via MOCA as anticipated. Ran Ethernet to cable ports to communicate with Roamio Plus and works as advertised. We can now watch premium cable channels and on demand without having to pay for cable box. Also feature for Netflix and Amazon subscribers. Worth the money if you can get MOCA to function or have access to hard wire. No wireless feature available.

Outside of my VT65 Panasonic Plasma, this little box is the best thing I've bought... and it's only about $100. Full control of the main TiVo box. RF Remote - great upgrade Picture quality is very noticeable. Works great, just needs an ETH wired, not WiFi

I wish that I had bought this sooner! The picture quality is amazingly clear! Colors just pop off the screen now! More apps, more apps, more apps is the only thing needed! It would be nice if you could get local channels on this. Then it would really be a winner! You could then cut the cable cords completely!

You can utilize up to 4 of these - and have the full functionality of the main DVR without paying extra subscription fees. It works with very few issues... My only issue is when viewing MLB.tv for more than 2 hours, it often requires a reboot, which is inconvenient....but not a deal breaker. It is less than an XBOX360 that I used for Windows Media Center - with more functionality.

Installed this little box along with my Tivo Bolt, and after a couple of days of issues got it working like a charm (give the Bolt, and the mini static i.p. addresses) we can now watch movies/tv shows in the living room, and then finish where we left off in the bedroom, great little box!

Purchased, installed, and it works like a charm. This is excellent if you are looking to cutting the cord and want to stream shows to different rooms. Only drawback is that if your coax is not Moca ready, you will have to buy the Moca adapter. Regardless, I would still recommend this.

The TiVo mini is great for catching up with your recorded shows or watching live TV on a second TV. As long as you can connect it by Ethernet to the same network as your TiVo unit, it has all the functionality of your big TiVo, but without the fees.

I have a Verizon Fios router and no cable TV. I was able to simply connect my Roamio to my router via ethernet cable, then plug this into my Coax outlet in the bedroom. Turn everything on, and like magic...everything worked! This does not use WiFi...it transmits signal through the same Coax line as my Fios network.

If you have a TiVo Dvr and want to watch it in another room this works great. You do have to run a Ethernet cable to your modem from the mini. Had to reset modem before it would work.
