This unit works great. There's a touch of lag when controlling just about anything. Despite what I was told, the box works with my DVR hooked up to a WiFi bridge and the mini attached to the main router. I'd give it a fifth star if it had WiFi and the price dropped to under $100.

I purchased 3 TiVO Minis to have high-definition TV and DVR capabilities in multiple rooms. My main DVR is a TiVO Bolt and the setup was very simple and straightforward. Everything streams perfectly to the Mini from the Bolt. The only drawback of the Mini/Bolt combo is you cannot use wifi internet connection and you'll need to connect your Bolt to your modem or router with an ethernet cable. My TV doesn't sit anywhere near my router, so it required routing an ethernet cable. The TiVO Mini is somewhat expensive, but you don't have to pay any additional monthly fees for service or equipment.

I added two Minis to the TiVo box in my home and now I am able to watch all my recorded shows and live over-the-air TV in all three rooms. The total investment was high, but it was well worth it after I cut the satellite service a few months ago. The set up of each mini took some time but with the fast internet connection it was tolerable. Very easy to set up. I hooked them up to the TiVo using the existing Ethernet cables in my home. Basically a plug 'n play proposition. The picture quality is as good as the main TiVo box, no signal loss, and far superior to that of any satellite or cable company.

added a 2nd Tivo Mini now to my Tivo set up and it works perfect. Easy set up and registered product to my Tivo account online within minutes. So glad to return another cable card to Comcast and reduce my Cable bill by $7 per month. This will pay for itself in 21 months!

The mini is a great system if you want to expand your TiVO network into other rooms without paying full price for TiVO units. Make sure that you have the proper network and compatible systems but the interface is smooth and the remotes are RF which is nice.

Using this with a TiVo Bolt and it's working great. The initial setup took a call to TiVo to figure out the network but since it's been up and running no issues. Really like the TiVo interface and glad to have switched from cable provided set top box.

Item simply works. Why pay $8 mnth on a set-top cable box rental when you can purchase a device like this that is yours for a lifetime. Interface is quicker and more user friendly as well.

Bought two of these and wasn't disappointed. Can now watch our recorded shows in multiple rooms in our house. Wife was skeptical but she thinks it's great. Set up with MoCA connection to a TiVo Bolt and works very well. Highly recommend.

Overall the unit works well for basic HD TV transmission from the base unit. Trying to watch some shows on a powerline network connection is definitely a problem. I had the adapters, so I tried it. Note: TIVO does not recommend this nor do they recommend or support wireless adapters for the unit. Pay attention to the specs. That said it had few problems with basic TV tuning from the main unit over the same connection. Not sure why one would work and the other would not. It did eliminate a cable card fee and I'm tired of getting dinged by Comcast for every little thing.

Great to not have the Comcast black box with its monthly fee. Great feature to be able to record a show and watch it in any room that has the mini. We are enjoying them very much.

TiVo mini is a great extension of your TiVo, providing all the same functions of the master unit but in a separate room. Works great. A very nice product, and well worth the money.

Works great, and is easy to use! The menu is easy to navigate, and has great visibility to not only what you might want to watch/record, but also what you have recorded.

The Tivo Mini is great! Even works with Xfinity On Demand! Easy to set up and very reliable. Pair this with a TiVo RoamIO plus a set Powerline adapters and you can get cable service in any room with an electrical outlet!

This is a great addition to our Tivo Bolt. We can now watch our 2nd TV in HD. The old cable box would not allow it. We can also pause and watch recorded programs. Sorry I waited so long to purchase it. Very easy set up.

Would you rather pay $8mnth rent on a cable box that will NEVER be yours or have a device that interacts with your TiVo DVR and works better? The choice is yours but I'd rather save, especially when said device is on sale!

Bought this to work with a TiVo bolt. Love it. It is just like having another tivo but without the fees. It replaced the cable box so I it will pay for itself.

Works wonderfully with the TiVo Roamio. Have two minis total and am thinking about getting more!

I now have four Tivo Minis which get content from a Tivo Bolt and they work amazingly well. I have replaced the Verizon Fios Quantum boxes (which I upgraded to about 8 months ago) which I was renting from Verizon. I have been extremely displeased with the poor performance of the Verizon units which prompted me to look for a replacement. The setup of the Tivo boxes with Verizon service is very simple and the Tivo menus are very easy to navigate once you get use to them. The only complaint that I have is that the remotes, which are both RF as well as IF, are not back lit. This makes it a lot harder to use in low light conditions, but that is the only complaint so far and not worth taking a full star away form the rating.

The Mini works as advertised, it streams live TV via the Bolt and playbacks recorded content as well. The perfect match to the Bolt or any other Tivo device.

I purchased the Tivo mini to to put another TV in the back of the house but did not want to pay the price for subscription and this was a great solution. works as expected, another great Tivo product.
