So glad that TiVo came out with this product. This product allows me to connect to my main TiVo box to watch live TV and recorded shows.

I think the Tivo system is better than Verizon's system. I did have one occasion where the mini lost signal from the main box.

The Tivo Mini is a great product. I purchased these from Best Buy to replace my cable boxes that I was paying $10 a month from the cable company. My only complaint is they can take up to 24 hours to register on Tivo's servers before they start working. If you think you are just going to take it home and plug it in and have it working right away, think again! After the updates and the wait, they work great!

We wanted to lower our cable bill; as a result we decided on the Tivo system. We installed Tivo Bolt and three Minis. After a few days the Tivo Minis did not work. It was a frustrating week. I read through some formus and discovered other folks had the same problem; however, it was an easy fix. There was a "group" missing in an update. Once Tivo updated our boxes with the missing "group" everything has worked fantastically. We love the apps that come with it like Netflix, Hulu, MLB.com and many more. You do have to have a subscription to the apps to be able to use them though.

This is a great addition to the Tivo DVR. I added it to my Tivo Roamio in order to extend it into another room. It works flawlessly.

Unit works great with connected romeo. Saves 10.00 a month on cable outlet charge, and interface is so much better than cable box.

This is my second TiVo mini. It works great with my TiVo Romeo Plus, and lifetime TiVo subscription is included in the price.

Fairly easy to set up using your home network but be careful - go online and make sure it's compatible with your existing TIVo and follow the instructions step by step to set up a 'network' so it can see your existing TiVo. First one takes several steps to set up network but this is my second and it went faster.

Own an Apple TV and tried to stream from my TiVo Bolt to another TV using the TiVo app. The app was glitchy though so this is a much better alternative.

Tricky on setup but it works well and I’m not paying carrier fees for hardware. Definitely worth it

Setup was a breeze. No more transferring. Just watch whatever is on your TiVo(s) from wherever you put the mini.

A Mini TiVo! and it works over Powerline Ethernet adapters even though TiVo does not support it. just be careful of power surges that causes the Powerline Ethernet adapters to get out of whack, then you have to unplug them all to basically power cycle the Powerline Ethernet adapters... needed this setup because did not have any cable run to my kids room and it's a rental. But other than that, I have been using these Mini's for over a month all is good.

I've been a Tivo user for many years and I love it. The Tivo mini is a great way to add Tivo to every room without having to add another Tivo box. I created a MoCa network and now I have all the features of my full size Tivo box in 3 other rooms of my house. I replaced 3 Comcast boxes with Tivo mini's and now my cable bill is $30 less every month. Way to go Tivo!

We use this in conjunction with at Tivo Bolt. Although Tivo recommends networking the units via MOCA we have had great experience connection over a wireless access point to ethernet network. We have had zero issues with connectivity while watching live TV or recorded shows. Really love being able to stream live TV and recorded shows from the Tivo Bolt. The commercial skip feature is wonderful. Also love that there are no recurring fees for this unit.

This device is a great way to extend Tivo service throughout your house in a budget conscious way. You only need to have one Tivo box (Premiere or later I believe) and you are good to go. You just have to pay for service on the one box, as the Mini uses one of the streams from your main Tivo device in order to watch live TV on the Mini. I currently use the Mini with a Tivo Bolt device, which can record 4 things at once. So if you use the Mini to watch live TV, you'll have 3 slots left on your main device to record shows. For me it works great as I don't record more than 3 things at once. But if you are someone who records lots of things at once you may want to think about getting the Bolt+ to pair with the Mini. Especially if you are thinking of getting more than one Mini. The Mini also has all the bells and whistles as a normal Tivo would have so you won't even notice a difference. Netflix, Plex, Youtube, etc. You can see it all using the Mini just as you would a regular Tivo.

I set up tv in the basement for gaming purposes mostly for my son. But I wanted to be able to watch recorded shows down there every now and then without having to add another monthly TiVo bill. TiVo Mini does just that. I really didn't need more recording space, just wanted to see what was already recorded without moving the TiVo the shows are on. Only downside was having to run a line from the router. But once that is done, its all good.

This is the third TiVo we've added to our setup. Biggest advantage is that you can control your Tivo Roamio or Bolt from a remote system and you don't pay a monthly charge for any TiVo mini. Same controls, same remote and same abilities. Beware that TiVo doesn't support wireless connections on the mini so you'll either need a good wireless setup, Ethernet between the boxes or cable runs from room to room.

Added two Tivo Minis to my Roamio OTA and they work great. I set them up with ethernet the only downside is there is a lag between registering them with Tivo and them working. Once they were registered they work very well.

This is the second mini that I have purchased. Easy to install.

Easy to set up. I've had no issues with this product. My only regret is the price. I'd buy one for each tv if the price wasn't so high.
